I recently replied to a post about the resin issues in the game. One person told me something like "resin is fine" and "resin will not be fix becouse it is fine"... and things along those lines. So here are some numbers:

To summarize, the cost of upgrading a character to level 90 is:
EXP: 8.380.000 ~= 69 Ley lines ~= 1380 resin
Ascension: ~= 39 Boss runs ~= 1550 resin
Talents: ~= 25 domain runs ~= 500 resin
Mora: ~= 41 mora ley lines ~= 820 resin
Total: 4245 resin, or 23.58 days, (at 180 resin per day) to max a character.
By the way... here we are not even talking about artifacts, which could very well be a few more weeks to find the correct rolls for the characters.
Now, there are 25 characters in the game (Leaving out MC), which means 589.5 days, or 1.61 years, to max out the current characters. (Yeah... forget about all the characters that will be released in that time, which could be more than 35 if they keep releasing at the current rate)
Now of course, we had the falling stars event, which was nice value for the resin cost. And from time to time we can get some of this required materials as rewards for quest, chest, logins, bp, etc. Some of those are rewards are one time only, some of them are not. This of course will reduce the total time required.
And yes, of course, some of you will say "you dont need to max out supports, just max your DPS"... but that is not the issue here, in fact... the only reason people dont max out the supports is the excesive cost. If it was not this expensive, people would max them out as well... but it is not possible.
And yes, i know that right now there is a much more important issue in the game (account security) which needs to have top priority.
But please... for all of those that keep saying that the resin sistem is completely fine and that there is no issue with it... think again, please.
