Hello everyone, today we have the walk through of Old Notes and New Friends – Invisible Barrier quest. This is one of the desert quests in Version 3.1.
Location of the four ruins
1. Follow the quest guide and approach ruin 01 as marked above and defeat the mob guarding the mechanism to unlock the gate.
You’ll see an Exquisite Chest just inside the ruin entrance. Pay attention that there is an impassable wall here.
Turn left at the end of the path and go up the stairs as demonstrated below in the circled area
Turn your camera backwards once atop the stairs and enter the small room in the red circle, jump down from the breach
Jump down and turn left to find a mechanism and an Exquisite Chest
Open the Exquisite Chest to complete the exploration, operate the mechanism to escape through the door on the right.
2. Approach ruins 02
Mark the cactus and enter the door on its left, as demonstrated below
Go to the second floor and activate the mechanism
Get the Forged Primal Light and unlock the Exquisite Chest
Turn the mechanism to open the door behind you
Obtain the Transparent Ruins Record from the chest
3. Head to ruins 03 by following the quest guide.
Use the cactus as reference, enter the ruins and turn left
Turn right then right again, start on top of the platform and head south. Turn left, then enter the platform after acquiring the crystal.
Enter the door that just opened, collect the Second Transparent Record and complete the exploration, activate the mechanism to get out.
4. Follow the quest tracker and approach the fourth ruins
Entrance references include the Trifolium to the left and the Mausoleum of King Deshret
Turn left at the breach with the light to enter o find the mechanism
Turn right after reaching the end and circle around the pillar.
Use Anemo skills to blow away the sand and activate the mechanism
The door behind you will open after activating the mechanism
Enter the doorway and search the Exquisite Chest to complete the exploration, activate the mechanism to get out
Achieve “The King of Four Lands” achievement and return to Aaru Village, speak to Soheil
