This is the FIRST part of the Albedo analysis. I will be doing two more parts!

Albedo is a five star Geo sword user from Mondstadt. His elemental skill and burst scale off of his defense, so it is important to remember defense when building Albedo.
A reminder: I will not go in-depth on talents as you can view those in-game!
Talents
Favonius Bladework - Weiss
Albedo uses his sword for up to five consecutive attacks. He can do charged attacks and plunging attacks.
ideal level range: 1-2 you really won't need this talent at all, as Albedo will not be doing physical damage. Therefore I reccomend leaving it at level 1 and using the materials elsewhere.
Abiogen****: Solar Isotoma
Albedo summons a flower made of geo energy which counts as a geo construct. You can mive the skill by holding down the button. It also functions as a way of reaching high up places and has it's own joke about being an elevator. It scales based on defense.
ideal level range: 8-9 depending on your current level and how much you plan to use Albedo, you can level it to either 8 or 9. This is where a large portion of your damage comes from.
Rite of Progeniture: Tectonic Tide
This skill unleashes a geo attack, dealing damage to surrounding opponents. It has a relatively large AoE (area of effect) and also deals damage after the initial blast in the form of Fatal Blossoms. It is important to note that this skill is to be used within Albedo's elemental skill, Abiogen****: Solar Isotoma for the Fatal Blossom damage.
ideal talent range: 8-9 a majority of Albedo's damage output will come from this skill, so it is important to level it as far as possible.
Weapons
-Harbinger of Dawn (3 star) by far the most popular Albedo build weapon. F2P option. Try to get R5.
-Cinnabar Spindle (unrealesed 4 star) It seems to be featured as a weapon for Albedo in the upcoming event Shadows Amidst Snowstorms. This is, of course, unconfirmed.
-Festering Desire (4 star unavailable) This is an option only IF you played the first Drahonspine Event. It is energy recharge, which means you would be capable of focusing less on ER in your artifacts and more on Crit rate and Damage.
Important + Unimportant Stats
Defense- Defense is a very important stat to Albedo, as his skills will scale off of it. The higher your defense the better. This is also beneficial because Albedo will be able to take the larger hits other characters may not.
Energy Recharge- If you are not using Festering Desire, you will need energy recharge for Albedo. While you will not need to focus much on it, you should still have enough for Albedo to recharge his burst quickly.
Geo Damage- This is highly important for Albedo, thus I reccomend a Geo Damage Bonus cup.
Crit Rate and Damage- While it is not as important as raw defense, the stats are important to Albedo as they would be to your main DPS. Therefore I reccomend at least 40/80 ratio, being low enough you should be able to get this from sub stats.
Attack- Attack for Albedo is almost useless. You will not need it.
Elemental Mastery- Geo characters just don't benefit from this as they have no elemental reactions. The only thing it is good for is shield strength which is not something you focus on with Albedo.
Other Elements and Physical- Albedo, being a Geo character, does not use other elements. Nor is physical damage important to him as a support.
HP- Albedo does not scale off of HP and therefore does not need it. While this stat is unavoidable as a flower, you should try for artifacts without HP if possible.
Artifact Sets
I suggest you to use 2pc Archaic Petra (Geo Bonus) and 2pc Husk of Opulent Dreams (unrealesed, Def +30%)
Teams
Albedo is pretty much a good support for anyone, but here are some characters he pairs excellently with.
F2P: For a F2P team, I suggest Fischl (main DPS) Diona (Heals/shield) and Amber (Sub)
4 Stars:
-Gorou will be a HUGE boost to Albedo's damage upon release, so you should consider getting Gorou if you wish for Albedo.
-Bennett is a must for most people, but when building a team centered around Albedo he will provide no major buffs for the Geo support. You can use him, but he does not support Albedo well.
I simply included two characters I feel will be popular or useful for Albedo, but did not give you a team comp as it is really up to your preference. Though I will suggest a character that can be switched from regularly.
5 Stars:
-Basically any five star works with Albedo, though I would advise you to avoid characters that are anemo, as anemo characters generally prefer using swirls for large damage. I would also reccomended staying away from characters that remain on field constantly, such as Ganyu.
I would reccommend pairing Albedo with other Geo characters, and a decent team for thia could be Albedo, Ninggaung, Zhongli, and Gorou.
Reasons You Should Wish for Albedo
-He is a great support
-He has massive AoE
-He can make use of your defense artifacts
-He is F2P friendly
-He is basically a tank with all the defense
Reasons You Should Not Wish for Albedo
-He can be annoying in terms of how often you need to switch to him for consistant damage
-Your weapon options will be limited to a very small amount
