Requirements:
Complete the Aranyaka Part II: Dream Nursery [Collecte Vasoma Fruits] quest
Trigger condition:
Complete the quest "The World of Aranara" to get the "Vasmrti". Head to the southwest of the Statue of The Seven at the lower left of Pardis Dhyai, and you will automatically access the quest at Apam Woods.
Extra reward:
①Open the Domain: [The Coordinates of Sun and Rain].
②Achievement: The Rain Seeps Into the Soil.
③Acquire [Rhythm of the Source Water]: It has the power to control the "Varuna Contraption". Play this song on the "Vintage Lyre" when next to the Varuna Contraption, and you will be able to interact with it and change the weather in the Apam Woods.
Quest introduction:
This quest is the second part that must be completed to advance the Aranyaka story.
Ⅰ. Pre-quest steps of Varuna Gatha:
1. Help the trapped Aranara
Follow the quest prompts to defeat the Fungi surrounding Aranara(as shown in the picture below), and talk to him.
2. Go to the vantage spot with Arapandu
It is recommended to climb trees, because there are still many friends who are not very skilled in using the Four-Leaf Sigil. To avoid wasting time, it is proper to climb up, and the distance is not too far (note that the glowing plants on the trunk can replenish stamina).
3. Talk to Arapandu
4. Defeat the Fungi in the trees
5. Head to “the rest stop”
6. Find the "branch" and "leaves" with Arapandu
We can use the Four-Leaf Sigil to move quickly, and follow the guidance to find the "branch" and "leaves" (in the tree hole).
7. Make the three "leaves" turn towards the "branch"
Turn the "leaves" to make the tip part toward the "branch". In short, turn the tip of the surrounding three stones toward the center stone, and then talk to Arapandu to complete the quest (if the direction is correct, the green trace pointing to the "leaves" will disappear).
At this point, we have completed the pre-quest of the world quests: Varuna Gatha. We will access three sub-quests of Varuna Gatha, namely: [Memory of Stone], [Irate Iron Chunk], and [Slumbering Roots].
Ⅱ. Varuna Gatha: Memory of Stone
1. Head to the Yasna Monument and look for Aranakula
After running to the quest prompt location, Aranakula will not appear until the dialogue below is over.
2. Move forward without being noticed (you need to avoid the range of surrounding mushroom beasts, or Aranakula will return to the starting point if you are spotted)
3. Go to the place that Aranakula mentioned
4. Clear the spores that cover the stones (Clear the spores)
5. Find the "branch" together with Aranakula
Go down to the right, and you will see a Four-Leaf Sigil at the entrance of the cave, and the "branch" is in the cave.
6. Make the three "leaves" turn towards the "branch"
Follow the Seelie, and it will lead you to the three "leaves", as well as an ordinary chest. Turn the three "leaves" to make the tip part toward the "branch".
7. Talk to Aranakula
Ⅲ. Varuna Gatha: Irate Iron Chunk
1. Head to the Ruins of Dahri to look for Arabalika
Click "Quest Tracking" to navigate to the location of the quest guidance, and find Arabalika next to the Ruin Guard.
2. Defeat the Ruin Guard
3. Find the mechanism and activate it
4. Find the "branch" with Arabalika
5. Make the three "leaves" turn towards the "branch"
6. Defeat the Ruin Grader
Ⅳ. Varuna Gatha: Slumbering Roots
1. Head to the Grove of Dreams to find Arakunti
2. Play the Rhythm of the Great Dream at the designated location to lure the Aranara out
3. Find the "branch" with Arakunti
4. Play the Rhythm of the Great Dream in front of Silapna
5. Make the three "leaves" in the dream turn towards the "branch"
6. Play the Rhythm of the Great Dream in front of Silapna
7. Talk to Arakunti
Ⅴ. Varuna Gatha: A Prayer for Rain on the Fecund Land
After completing the three sub-quests, you will automatically access the quest [A Prayer for Rain on the Fecund Land]
1. Head to “the rest stop”
2. Head near the “Varunastra”
3. Head into the depths
4. Clear the spores
5. Defeat the Fungi
6. Talk to Aranara
After the dialogue is completed, we will unlock new songs, as well as the achievement "The Rain Seeps Into the Soil". At this point, the [Varuna Gatha] quest series has been completed.
