Quest Name:
Sumeru Hidden Quest - Cost-Effective Hook
Rewards:
Achievement [Aha! What's on the Hook?];
Requirement:
Complete [Supreme Hookshot?] three times and wait for daily reset; Other potential requirement: completion of [Adventure Takes Courage!] and Adventure Rank ≥ 35.
Quest Taking:
Complete [Supreme Hookshot?] three times and wait for daily reset to take [Cost-Effective Hook]. If no quest notification is received in World Quest list, please check whether the two NPCs in the picture exist at the marked place.
Procedure:
1. Talk to Kayvan
Follow the guidance to the designated spot and talk to Kayvan. We’re told Miss. Helbet entrusted him to pick up the relics underwater, which sounds strange though. But we know from the previous daily commissions that Kayvan never misses in fishing and what he picks up will never be fishes, and this explains why Helbet asked this favor from him. What we need to do is help Kayvan collect special materials: Submit Mint, Harra Fruit and Zaytun Peach.
2. Look for the materials that Kayvan needs
Three kinds of materials can all be approached following the quest guidance.
Mint: Reach the designated spot according to the quest guidance and defeat 3 Whirling Pyro Fungus to obtain 3 [Special Mint]. Give it to Kayvan together with regular materials like Submit Sunsettia and Wheat.
Harra Fruit: Turn on the quest tracking and reach the spot to defeat Fungus to obtain 1 [Special Harra Fruit]. Give it to Kayvan together with regular materials like Submit Sunsettia and Wheat.
Zaytun Peach: the bait material for the last fishing. Three places are outlined on the map here.
These spots see 2 Fungus and 1 Pyro Whopperflower. The first two Zaytun Peaches must be obtained through battle. The Zaytun Peach below can be obtained by simply approaching it, quite easy. Complete the collection and give them to Kayvan to push the plot. He also lived up to our expectation by taking back all relics of Akademiya. Complete the quest to unlock Achievement [Aha! What's on the Hook?].
Summary:
This quest is at all times accompanied by clear quest tracking, with super easy battles and puzzles. It only takes 10 min. But the previous quest is a hassle as you must complete [Supreme Hookshot?] three times.
