My opinion, is that he should be behind bars for a while. To literally just regret or maybe heal from his mistakes, go to therapy for god's sake. (Which he actually did tho.)
I feel bad for Alejandro, although he was in the hospital seeing the situation. Poor him, he saw Elliot as a great friend.
Edit: Many people see him as like a good person. Like some of them literally defended a literal ****ph!le, that's just disgusting.
