Go to the second floor of the shipwreck from the right side. Talk to the samurai to start the quest.
Quest Summary:
In this quest, we will help the samurai recover his strength. It’s best to have 12 Naku Weeds at the ready so you can complete everything in one go.
Quest Steps:
1. Rescue the besieged samurai
We see a tall samurai standing atop a shipwreck near the Nazuchi Beach, seemingly wounded, with a bunch of pirate warriors encircling the location. As we approach, the pirates attack us.
Once out of combat, the samurai tells us that his name is Inaba Kyuuzou. The ones that attacked him are thugs and fugitives turned pirates who gather into groups and live through pillaging.
Afterwards, Inaba Kyuuzou asks us to help clear out the pirate camp to the south.
Follow the quest navigation and head to the beach in the south. You can glide here directly from the Tatarasuna waypoint, the detailed route is demonstrated below in the picture. There aren’t many pirates on the island, defeat them all to continue.
Once the pirates are taken cared of, we return to the shipwreck on Nazuchi Beach and report back to Inaba Kyuuzou.
After the dialogue, he asks us to help collect some Naku Weeds for healing.
The quest requires 12 Naku Weeds to complete, obtainable through gathering.
Once you turn in the Naku Weed, adjust in-game time to 10:00~12:00 the next day and speak to Inaba Kyuuzou again to complete the quest. The quest rewards are Adventure EXP*300, Primogem*40, Hero’s Wit*4, Mora*30,000.
2. Hidden Quest
Speak to Inaba Kyuuzou again, he’ll ask us to clear out the pirates nearby.
There won’t be any hints for this step, so we’ll have to clear out all nearby pirate camps on our own.
The red dots in the picture below are pirate camps. You’ll also find a Pirate’s Diary in each of the camps, but reading them won’t affect completion of the quest, only for extra lore. The location is as follows:
After clearing out all four pirate camps in the picture above, the quest step: Report the situation to Inaba Kyuuzou will show up. Return to the location where he was at the shipwreck, we’ll find the samurai missing, leaving behind but his final words.
After picking up the final words, the quest will proceed to the next step. You can read the final words in the inventory. Following the quest navigation, we come to a cliff with 3 samurais. Defeat all of them to complete the continuation of “Fate of a Fighter”.
Quest rewards the achievement [Oh, the Humanity!]
Summary:
This is a simple quest without complex puzzles and combat sequences. The only troublesome part is collecting 12 Naku Weeds.
