Quest Trigger:
On the same day we complete the world quest “Divine Plant of the Depths”, we can speak to Granny Komaki and ask for our fortune. Granny Komaki will tell us that we will find fortune at the highest point in Watatsumi Island, in an ancient place dedicated to the Gods.
Quest Summary:
This is the follow-up quest of Divine Plant of the Depths. We’ll get a total of 5 fortunes at Granny Komaki’s.
Note: This quest series is hidden, so there won’t be any quest navigations like other world quests.
Quest Steps:
1. Day 1 Fortune
On the first day, speak to Granny Komaki to start the quest. She’ll tell us to head to the highest point on the island where the Gods were worshipped.
We discover that the Mouun Shrine is the highest point of Watatsumi Island, so head to the location in the picture below to trigger the conversation.
Now we need to guide 4 Electro Seelies to the right positions. Below show their initial locations.
After getting into contact with the 4 Electro Seelies, we find the chest near the collapsed shrine. Day 1 has concluded and our reward is Common Chest*1.
2. Day 2 Fortune
On the next day we go to Granny Komaki again for our fortune. This time, Granny Komaki hints at us that we’ll have an ill-fated encounter in a cave in the south of Watatsumi Island.
After searching, the cave is at the location shown below. Once you’re there, Paimon will start a conversation. The location and route is as follows:
Some Treasure Hoarders will appear. Defeat them and read the “Treasure Hoarder’s Notes” in the cave.
Afterwards we’ll have to search for clues according to the contents of the notes: teleport back to the waypoint in the picture on Watatsumi Island, then glide towards the northwest of the map.
Clear out the Treasure Hoarder camp at half-hill to obtain Chest*1, then you’ll find “Rinzou’s Letter” at the camp. Follow the clues in the letter and return to the cave in the south.
Go dig at the locations in the “Treasure Hoarder’s Notes” to find Precious Chest*1, open it to unlock the achievement “A Distant Sea Shepherd's Treasure”.
3. Day 3 Fortune
We return to Granny Komaki for another fortune. Granny Komaki tells us to go below Sangonomiya Shrine, where the Electro Seelie will guide us.
The Electro Seelie is at the location in the picture below. Glide down the waterfall to the south of Sangonomiya waypoint and you’ll see it.
Approach the Electro Seelie will trigger Paimon’s dialogue. The Seelie will fly around the pool then up towards the shell above. ****** the Electro Seelie back to unlock a Common Chest. Open the chest to complete the fortune.
4. Day 4 Fortune
We return to Granny Komaki again for our fortune. This time she tells us to go to a ruined shrine with ominous omen in the east.
The location from the fortune is the shrine next to the waypoint to the far east of Watatsumi Island. Approaching the location will reveal a new locked chest on top of Paimon’s comments.
After some combat, the seal is released on the chest and the fourth fortune is concluded.
5. Day 5 Fortune
We come to Granny Komaki for a new fortune.
Granny Komaki tells us to go to the ruins to the northeast, where an ancient spirit will guide us.
The location in the fortune is the Suigetsu Pool to the northeast. After the conversation, teleport to the Domain in the picture (it’s recommended to unlock the Domain ahead of time for ease of traveling).
Once teleported, grab the Electrogranum.
The ancient spirit that Granny Komaki mentioned is the Electro Seelie right above us. Once you have the Electrogranum, fly up to touch it.
The Seelie will immediately fly to the entrance, so we’ll chase after it.
The Seelie will come to this Lightning Strike Probe, keep tracking it.
Get up with the help from “Phase Gate” and go pass the “Electro Barrier”.
Settle the Electro Seelie and three chests will appear at the same time (Precious Chest*1, Exquisite Chest*1, Common Chest*1) and the hidden achievement “As You Wish” will be unlocked. This concludes the five-day fortune-telling quest from Granny Komaki.
Summary:
There are five sub quests to this quest which takes quite a while, so be prepared.
