Prerequisites:
Reached Adventure Rank Lv.30; Completed quest “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”, “The Chi of Yore”, “Someone's Drifting Bottle”
Quest Trigger:
When all prerequisites are met, you’ll find an NPC named Hiromi outside Inazuma City. Teleport to the Tenryou Commission Headquarters waypoint then glide to the beach towards the direction of the Statue of the Omnipresent God, speak to him to trigger the quest.
Quest Summary:
In this quest, we help Hiromi look for Yan’er, the owner of the drifting bottle.
Quest Steps:
1. Talk to Hiromi
Talk to Hiromi by the beach
Give Hiromi “Someone’s Drifting Bottle”.
We learn that he’s waiting for an “informant” whom he was hoping can help him deliver a letter to a friend, and their arranged meeting location was at this beach. Unfortunately it seems that this person isn’t that reliable, as Hiromi had been waiting for days without any sign of him, so he asks us to come help him find this person together.
2. Look for the informant
Following the quest navigation, we teleport directly to the waypoint near Araumi. Glide northeast of the map until we find a campsite, and we find the person we’re looking for, Shun, next to it.
After talking, we decide to head to Jueyun Karst in Liyue and look for the two warriors they ran in**, **n Yu and Little Que’er, to see if we can find out anything useful.
3. Go to Jueyun Karst
Teleport to the Mt. Aocang waypoint and fly south a little bit to find the pair.
After our inquiry, we learn that they did meet the so-called “informant”, but have lost their track by now. They only remember “up and down, up and down, and up and down...”.
4. Go to Mt.Hulao to search for traces of “Big Sis”
We follow the quest navigation and come to Mt. Hulao, where the terrain matches Sunyu’s description of “up and down, up and down, and up and down...”.
Keep following the quest navigation leads us to the edges of a deep pit.
Looking down, we see an Amber Rock at the bottom of it. Simply dive down with a plunge attack to break the Amber Rock and find our target at last.
5. Rescue Yan’er
Fly out of the pit with the wind current and go to the destination. Talk to Yan’er and return the drifting bottle to its rightful owner, then we can report back to Hiromi.
6. Complete the quest
Teleport to the Ritou Island waypoint then head to the beach. Talk to Hiromi to complete the quest.
Summary:
This quest is overall fairly simple as it doesn’t involve complicated puzzles and combat, and is guided by quest navigation clearly throughout.
