That title is really non-descript. [emoji]
Anyway remember how I got bored that one time and decided to check out the edge of Hulao to peek at Sumeru?
I got bored again. This time I even picked up fishing finally. (No I still don't have the Catch lol) But while fishing near Qingce I finally noticed the chunk cut out between Liyue and Mondstadt.

It never struck me as odd before but with Inazuma out now and Sumeru on the horizon I got to thinking why is this part of the map off limits? There's nothing that could come between them. Fontaine's not going to slip in on this tiny sliver between the two regions.

And unlike Sumeru or any of the other unreleased regions this one is so small you can actually see it from all sides.

My only guess is that it'll be just like a Dragonspine/Chasm deal and even though we can pretty much see exactly what this area looks like the fully released version will have some kind of secret or boss fight.
It could even be the starting point into Fontaine. Maybe for the Prologue Act Mona will lead us to this place with its Hydro based water falls and that'll end off with the new boundary opening into Fontaine in the following update.
What do you guys think this area could be?
