Hello Travelers! Today I’m bringing you a guide to collecting all the Crimson Agates in Dragonspine. Crimson Agate is the offering required by the Frostbearing Tree. Similar to elemental oculi, it is found and gathered in the overworld.
You can see most of the Crimson Agates in the overworld, yet some are hidden in chests or ice, which you can only obtain by other means.
There are in total 80 Crimson Agates in the mountain. For this guide, I divide their locations into 8 parts by subarea. Hope it helps you reach 100% exploration in Dragonspine!
This is the third of eight parts, focusing on the ten Crimson Agates around Entombed City - Outskirts.
==Preparation==
1. Considering the extreme climate in Dragonspine area, it’s better to have a Pryo character in your team to set campfires and reduce Sheer Cold.
2. Before starting your exploration, complete the World Quest: In the Mountains.
3. You may have to complete other World Quests or puzzles when collecting Crimson Agates. You can find links of the guides to those relevant quest in the route explanation.

3. Gathering Route 1 (Crimson Agate 23-28)
Crimson Agate 23:
You get Crimson Agate 23 in a chest. Start from the Waypoint north of Entombed City, head southwest. Defeat the Hilichurls to open the chest in their tent. NB: There is a Cryo Amplifier near the Hilichurl Camp. You can break it with Pyro first.
Crimson Agate 24:
Keep heading east, you will find Crimson Agate 24 in the air by a tree.
Crimson Agate 25:
Continue to the south, defeat Frostarm Lawachurl and the other Hilichurls around. You will find this Crimson Agate in the chest at the bottom of the waterfall.
Crimson Agate 26:
Return to the Waypoint north of Entombed City and head south. Complete a Time Trial for Crimson Agate 26. It’s in the chest after you complete the trial. There are three waves of monsters in the Time Trial: the first contains three Hilichurls, two Ice Shieldwall Mitachurl in the second and a Frostarm Lawachurl in the third.
Crimson Agate 27:
Complete a Time Trial and you’ll find it in the rewarded chest. The Trial requires you to collect 12 Anemo particles within 90 seconds. You can go down and around from your right side to collect all of them.
Crimson Agate 28:
You’ll find it in a dip halfway up the mountain to the northeast. Actually you can see it from where the Time Trial is.
IV. Gathering Route 2 (Crimson Agate 29-31)
Crimson Agate 29:
Start from the Waypoint at the bottom right of Entombed City and head north. Defeat the Frostarm Lawachurl and you can get Crimson Agate 29 in the chest appears.
Crimson Agate 30:
Keep going north, you can see Crimson Agate 30 between two Hilichurls on the path.
Crimson Agate 31:
Crimson Agate 31 is halfway up the cliff on your west.

Dragonspine has a unique mechanism, the Sheer Cold gauge, which you must pay extra attention to, as once the gauge is full, the active character starts to lose HP. Remember to utilize Pyro skills, the Elemental Monuments and campfires to keep you safe.
