We've already met a few of the Fatui Harbingers. We first met Signora in Mondstadt followed by Childe in Liyue or Scaramouche before that during the Unreconciled Stars because you were like me and didn't get around to doing Liyue until just before Lantern Rite. And if you subscribe to my theory then Signora's death in Inazuma is the basis for the appearance of 4 other Harbingers starting with Dottore in the next region and ending with Pierro by Snezhnaya. It is also rumored that Pulcinella will be our Harbinger for Fontaine. And we know about Pantalone from the Pale Flame too. (so Natlan?)
But we've only heard about Capitano in passing and Sandrone only if you can understand Chinese where they only reference his title "the puppet." And that still leaves 2 more with zero information since we do know there's a total of 11 of them.
The picture MiHoYo made describing them is the face of a clock meaning there should be 12 but I think the "twelve o' clock" is probably just the Tsaritsa herself similar to how Zhongli has the adepti but he himself is the prime adepti.
Now going back to my theory the Pale Flame should be one to one for the remaining regions. Signora was Inazuma, Dottore will be Sumeru, Pierro will be Snezhnaya and then we also have Pantalone and Scaramouche. I have another theory on Scaramouche though following the events of Labyrinth Warriors so I don't think he'll become a weekly boss during an Archon Quest.
Because Scara is no longer the boss for an Archon Quest that also leaves the other Harbingers to be in the same boat meaning we'll still be facing off against them just not as part of an Archon Quest. I have a feeling we're going to get confirmation that the other Harbingers will become weekly bosses or at least event bosses but from the time-limited events.
As for the unnamed two I've been checking it out and apparently there are two really popular characters in Commedia dell'arte that aren't part of the named Harbingers. One is Arlecchino and the other is Brighella. Brighella is actually a cross between Pierro and a more matured Arlecchino so this could play really well into the future of Genshin if this guy ends up playing off of Pierro. On top of that Arlecchino is apparently the most popular of the characters and we all know what it is if I just use the English name for it: Harlequin.
No not that Harlequin!
So if all these pieces are correct it should be:
Sumeru: Dottore
Fontaine: Pulcinella
Natlan: Pantalone?
Snezhnaya: Pierro
Then in between we'll be getting story events that lead up to weekly boss fights for Scaramouche, Capitano, Sandrone, Brighella and Arlecchino.
Scara no longer being a region's weekly boss puts into question Pantalone too. I don't really see him fitting into Natlan. If anything it's more likely Capitano or Sandrone would fit better. Capitano because of my theory on who the Pyro Archon is. His character seems to fit with her background. And Sandrone because it would feel like a foil to the Muratans we get to know in the manga.
And that leads me to trying to link them by their character personalities from Commedia dell'arte but more on that later.
How likely is this? It's too soon to tell but I think it feels right, right? [emoji]
