Hey Verizon. I'm pretty sure an empty health bar for the boss means I won.
Verizon: What? Hang on a sec. I can't hear you over the sound of us counting your money. Lemme get back to you on that.
So I had to actually fight all of these guys again. Just to get back to the boss itself where it finally recognized that 0 HP = dead and the boss instantly disintegrated.
You know bad internet has led to things like a Cryo Cicin Mage disappearing and not counting towards a Ley Line. It stopped me from grabbing Crystalflies because the option just didn't appear until after they were already gone. It's lead to empty cities that are low poly even when my settings are on high. It's also not properly loaded cutscenes so I'd just hear audio while a still image froze on screen. Sometimes I wouldn't even hear the audio and then suddenly I was back in game. Poor internet also lead to battles with me holding down the attack button and my character just stands there taking hits with the button still depressed or not being able to switch characters leading to low-health characters dying from hits they shouldn't have taken.
But I gotta say almost making me fail an event boss is a first.
It hasn't gotten to the point of not being able to play (I do get a few sessions of gorgeous 60fps high graphics Genshin [emoji]which is what I pray to the Archons for each time I need to record a video) but it is steadily getting worse. Not the best look for a 1st world country. [emoji]
