The Sincerity of Decimation
Signet Relevance
Decimation makes use of HP loss as an exchange for power. The best users are the Valkyries with self-sustained HP loss and recovery, or strong HP recovery abilities to suit the chosen Core ability.
Note that for Decimation Normal signets, the HP loss specified has 2 types - The first 3 accounts for HP that is already lost, while the last 2 are triggered by any action that causes HP loss as an effect, or taken. So make sure you know what your Valkyrie does to her own HP, or how they receive damage, if at all in combat.
Peculiarities
- One of Decimation's most exploitable points is that you can use Blood Rose's support to drop your HP as many times as you patiently want to in the early game. You just need time for multiple casts. In terms of a direct power boost. No other set can give you this much unconditionally, and this easily.
Blade, Grave, and Scar:
Every 100 HP lost boosts Total Dmg.
- 1.0% / 1.2% / 1.4% / 1.6%
- (180% / 216% / 252% / 288%) max (18,000 HP cap)
Bone, Blood, and Ribbon:
Every 100 HP lost boosts Physical & Elemental Dmg.
- 0.8% / 1.0% / 1.1% / 1.3%
- (144% / 180% / 198% / 234%) max (18,000 HP cap)
Letter, Maniac, and Ravings:
Every 100 HP lost reduces Total Dmg taken by Valkyrie.
- 0.8% / 1.0% / 1.1% / 1.3% (max 80%)
Path, Misfortunate, and Written Fate:
Max HP increases by 25% / 30% / 35% / 40%.
- This can be combined with Reverie's "Neighbourhood Chatters" signet for raising the HP cap further.
- Considered to be important for widening the HP gap and thus empowering the above 3 Normal signets.
- As a standalone signet, can be important for players using the Thorn Crown, as it can provide them up to a thousand more HP from the crippling reduction.
Desireless, Mindless, and Homeless:
Losing HP boosts Total Dmg taken by all enemies for 8s.
- 25% / 30% / 35% / 40%
- This singular signet can be picked or bought for Valkyries who fight by braving through damage or have no imperviousness to damage, allowing them to trigger the effect.
- This signet is also powered by Core (I)'s Enhanced signet, Burden, Difficulty, and Calamity. The damage it causes you will trigger this.
God, Me, and the Only:
Losing HP restores SP equal to a percentage of HP lost at the time.
- 2.0% / 2.4% / 2.8% / 3.2%

Core (I): Fight, Struggle and Decimation
Core Ability: Blood Boil
Blood Boil, is essentially a ticking time bomb. The more HP is lost over the total, the faster it reaches capacity.
- Default 10 points per second, and additional 3 points per 100 HP lost. At 1000 points, next attack depletes the charge and unleashes Blood Boil, dealing 1500% Adaptive Dmg in a large area.
- 20% bonus Total Dmg to Ignited enemies.
- Sigil: Immune to most debuffs below 33% HP, and immune to Interruption below 20% HP.
Inhuman, Unveil, and Ungodly:
Helps speeds up the accumulated points of Blood Boil by adding large stacks when losing HP. CD: 1s
- 300 / 360 / 420 / 480 pts
- This signet can be assisted by Daybreak (II), as Rend is a constant source of HP loss while active.
Man, Mask, and Contract:
Valkyrie gains Total Dmg bonus against enemies with higher current HP % than herself, and Blood Boil inflicts 60% / 72% / 84% / 96% bonus Total Dmg.
- Valkyrie's bonus - 40% / 48% / 56% / 64%
Burden, Difficulty, and Calamity:
Blood Boil costs 20% of current HP and every 100 HP consumed deals additional 120% / 150% / 180% / 210% Adaptive Dmg.
This signet loses efficiency very quickly as it starts consuming inconsequential amounts of HP to matter at all. It inflicts Adaptive Dmg to enemies while the Valkyrie gains Physical & Elemental Dmg bonus for 5s.
- (4320% / 5400% / 6480% / 7560%) Max Adaptive Dmg based on 18,000 HP cap.
- 40% / 48% / 56% / 64% - Physical & Elemental Dmg
- While a strange choice by design, this signet is meant to facilitate HP loss on Valkyries that do not naturally have the ability to do so. This signet also takes away the need to rely on the Blood Rose support.
Pros:
- Support attack from the Core, based off active HP loss and recovery. As such, this set is often used by specific Valkyries with that mechanic for maximum efficiency.
- Provides a secondary support attack for Valkyries who lack a distinctively destructive attack.
Cons:
- For Valkyries without self-sustained HP loss, it has to be forced through other means, like Blood Rose's support or the Burden... signet, requiring extra steps. The "Burden" signet can come at a suicidal cost if not well-planned.
- Inefficient at high HP %.

Core (II): Soldiers, Scissors, Spoils and Slaughter
Core Ability: Bloodboil Armor
Bloodboil Armor limits your current HP to 18% of Max. If HP recovery reaches 0* / 400 / 800, the charge recovery amount increases by 10% / 80% / 100%, up to 900 charges in a single charge instance. Default charge cap is 1800, and each point increases your HP cap by 1.
- *This value means any number from 1-399 HP
- All Enhanced Signets activate their abilities when 1500 Charges has been gathered.
- Sigil: Raises maximum Bloodboil Armor charges by 300. (Default possible max 4200 + 300 = 4500)
Death, Life, Oblivion and Existence:
Damage absorption equal to 1% of its charges on each hit taken. Works with damage reduction.
- 500 / 600 / 700 / 800 - Charge cap increment
Homeland and Friends:
Provides Physical & Elemental Breach to your Valkyrie.
- Physical - 50% / 60% / 70% / 80%
- Elemental - 25% / 30% / 35% / 40%
- 500 / 600 / 700 / 800 - Charge cap increment
Body, Bones, Heart and Soul:
Inflicts 800% Adaptive Dmg whenever you strike an enemy after healing. CD:5s
- Requires a healing ability from the Valkyrie to work consistently.
- 500 / 600 / 700 / 800 - Charge cap increment
Pros:
- Practically can be used by all Valkyries. Essentially trading off HP for power.
- Core will function as long as Normal signets "Blade..." and "Bone..." are acquired, fueling them with the 82% loss of HP.
- Sacrifices HP as a resource to fuel attack strength further.
Cons:
- Though usable by all, a lack of Total Dmg reduction against enemies can also result in OHKO fatal blows.
- HP recovery is also necessary to prevent that low HP state from being a death sentence.
- Enhanced signets are virtually useless on Valkyries who do not have an effective HP recovery mechanic.

Sigils & Support

- Only suited for Valkyries whose main source of power comes from HP-loss, as you want to maximise the HP-loss gap, which stacks on power for the Normal signets.
- This is a non-combat sigil, only meant to increase the HP cap whenever it is available to use.

Quick Review - What has changed?
- Core (I): Best used by Valkyries with a self-sustained HP loss and recovery mechanic. Performs extremely poorly on any other user.
- Blood Boil was inefficiently slow to work. Now the trigger frequency and damage output is significantly higher, making it viable for use with Ignite-capable and some Fire Dmg based Valkyries.
- Core (II): Can be used by anyone theoretically, but survivability / innate defenses and HP recovery abilities have to be considered.
- Nothing. Core (II) abilities remain the same.
- Core (I) is often times the best choice if your Valkyrie is in dire need of a supporting attack. This is because Blood Boil can deal heavy amounts of damage at an average of 4s each time, as long as you maintain low HP and have the right signets to boost your attack strength.
- Core (II) may seem enticing with Breach, but the problem is reaching the activation threshold in time to be useful. Moreover, if a Valkyrie already has a weak standard attack, Breach is not going to mean anything if you can't even deliver large amounts of damage in time.
