The current event is a nightmare for casuals and I'll bet it's not too fun for anybody under AR45 too. Not only are the enemies suped up again but to even get those silver medals which you need just to get the primogems you'll have to put the difficulty on hard meaning the "weakest" enemies start out at lvl85. That's fine because even at lvl91 my team at AR45 can still deal with them. But then comes the other rule of you can't use the same team back to back so unless you've been doing your Spiral Abyss (I haven't) you probably don't have 2 fully built teams and this time the trial characters are terrible. Even Kazuha just doesn't get in too much damage and he was my MVP during Misty Dungeon.

But besides that the story that plays out before you get to the pain is pretty interesting.

So I'm totally on board for Tim'er. Yinaeus? I can see the relationship being really fun.
But this event should just be shelved after this. It's pretty much Energy Amplifier but instead of 3-4 annoying fights over 5 days it's 12 with 4 fights per round. And you can't even use your team for half of them and they get progressively harder. I don't know about you guys but that makes it zero fun. It's one thing to make a tough challenge that tests your best guys. It's another to rig the test by forcing you away from your best guys.
Of course there is a fix for it. This event is pretty much MiHoYo going "Misty Dungeon was fun for people because they got to use characters they didn't have. Energy Amplifier was fun for people because it was challenging. Let's just mash the two together!" But Misty Dungeon had normal enemies for a decently built set of trial characters. Energy Amplifier requires the best built team because it tests the player's ability to use their teams efficiently. If you want to do both you have to give the best built trial characters too. Or you just can't make the enemies that hard.
