Missing anemoculus or a glitch?

So, I used the anemoculus resonance thingie and it marked where I facing in the mini-map (image below), but there's nothing and I'm... confusion. Is not in the air, nor in the ground, not even under the rocks!!!

I don't know if it's a glitch or the game is just trolling me, if someone can answer me I will really apreciate that ;-;
