Wow the cameos. First thing I want to say. The cameos. I think we're just missing Kazuha now. I mean Childe too but he's not in Liyue so it would be weird if he made an appearance. I suppose Kazuha could show up as a representative of traditional Japan that also celebrates the Lunar New Year. Would be nice to just see him on a cliffside overlooking Liyue playing his leaf harmonica.
I'm pretty sure the event will end with another Yun Jin performance. Xinyan duet dagnabit MiHoYo! [emoji]
Xingqiu told us even more about the details of the monster that you use firecrackers to scare off. And trolled Chongyun while he was at it. Funny how Chongyun still hasn't seen an evil spirit when Liyue just got attacked by Beisht. Does he not count giant 3 headed hydra gods as evil spirits? I'm starting to feel a Neji/Hinata vibe here with Shenhe coming from a lowly branch family and living a hard life while Chongyun's a sheltered kid who never had to stand on his own two feet yet.
Anyway with all this Treasure Hoarder business and fireworks I feel like I know what's going to happen next time. We'll start it off in Qingce where Chongyun and Xingqiu are hot on the trail of the other Treasure Hoarders. We'll start to realize that the groups here and the ones stealing stuff at Guyun are together and that's when the two separate questlines converge. We'll find out that the Treasure Hoarders either heard about some major find around Guyun or that they know something's going on in Guyun and that's why they are hoarding the fireworks and stuff. It'll turn out Beisht didn't leave but actually hid somewhere beneath Guyun and what the Treasure Hoarders actually found was her hiding place. They were trying to use the fireworks just like the tradition said to scare away the evil spirits that were supposedly guarding the treasure they thought they found. Because we'll be too late and they'll use some of the fireworks Beisht attacks again and this time the Qixing aren't prepared just yet. So we (probably Shenhe again, maybe Ganyu and Ningguang too and also Beidou and Xinyan?) will stall it while Keqing mobilizes the Millelith with those ballistas. The story might have us fight for a while and then cut to the ballistas forcing Beisht back underwater where we might end up with a weekly boss in v2.5. Then we'll have the event to take her on all the way.

But besides the new quest we finally got them! The new outfits are here and while Jean and Rosaria are definitely more covered up Mona is definitely not. She looks gorgeous!
These short shorts are great and I love the bare legs. She's basically got Eula's bottoms now but with her top essentially unchanged so it feels like it's even more revealing. They also colored it so that the midriff is that same see-thru patch Shenhe has.
But besides the fanservice I really like the new color scheme and hat. The darker theme feels like a more mission oriented outfit compared to her default and I really hope she's going to wear this for Unreconciled Stars 2.
I also love the backhanded way they explained Rosaria's outfit. It's like they know nobody's actually going to default on it so they added that rejection to where this outfit came from. I would love to see this in game like Rosaria just chucking the outfit at the sisters and taking off in her normal clothes fishnets and all. Meanwhile Jean's and Ambers look great too. Jean's looks like a more official dress for when she needs to receive foreign diplomats compared to her more casual default gear. Amber's looks much better than her default even though there's hardly any changes besides just the patterns.
I've already switched both Mona and Amber and I can't wait to see more of these alts. [emoji]
Also it's great that today's shadow puzzles were 1. Geo symbol 2. Liyue symbol and 3. Mora all things related to Zhongli because I switched to this new outfit with Mona and did them as her. Monax away! [emoji][emoji]
