I recently got the new Battlepass sword "Wolf-Fang" and decided to test it out on Xingqiu. I wanted to test if the Crit Rate stat and the damage bonus from the passive is able to outperform the Emblem of Severed Fate build. This is his old build:
Old Build
I equipped him with Nymph's Dream set as he will lose a lot of Energy Recharge, making Emblem of Severed Fate set less efficient to use. This is his new build:
New Build
The damage output increases steadily by 2k for each of the water sword he unleash during burst. His skill have no significant difference between both builds. Given that the weapon can be R5 for more burst damage and Crit Rate, this damage can be improved further.

Team used are as follows:
- Freeze (Shenhe, Kazuha, Kokomi, Ayaka)
- Aggravate (Keqing, Kazuha, Nahida, Sara)
- National (Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu)
Note that his Energy Recharge has gone down significantly for builds that are not using an Energy Recharge weapon, making his burst harder to activate if your team has no efficient way to gain Energy. As I mainly used him in Raiden National team, this Energy issue is alleviated.
For players who are willing to afford the Battlepass (Gnostic Hymm), this is a decent upgrade for Xingqiu.
