I have to confess now…

I used to see Fontaine plot as a joke of some sort, as something silly and even ridiculous. I thought Furina is just dumb and represents the most unfit person for archon role. So when things got close to the final trial, I felt that this is how it should be after all, that she absolutely deserved it. Beware of spoilers ahead! But the next scene gave me the ultimate explanation to every issue I had for Furina. The story of Focalor is just… unexpectedly serious for the game. so it felt like a thunder on a clear sky. her sacrifice is so christian style. the inevitability makes it even sadder. but! I still think that Wriothesley is irresponsible. and I think Neuv is kinda ******ed, because he hadn’t even noticed all that weird stuff about Furina during 500 yrs. that’s insane I’d say. so, well done, Hoyo. you have deceived not only the heavenly principles, but me as well. I consider Furina’s story as one of the greatest and tragic stories yet given to us. Let’s discuss?
