Let me begin by addressing a few questions for anyone new to the elite grind
Q: What is an elite?
A: In your adventure handbook, look for the "Enemies" tab and then look for "Elite Enemies" in the dropdown. Using "Navigate", the game will direct you to certain elite spawn.
When you deplete all the preloaded elite locations, the game will then show you a respawning time window that ends at the same time as the daily reset.
DO NOT BE FOOLED into thinking that the elites marked by the handbook are special. The marked ones are not any different from any other elites you may run into during your exploration.
Every elite, whether they are marked by the handbook or not, ar* ***ranteed to drop mora and character exp and have a chance to drop artifacts.
Note: at WL5 and beyond, the mora value caps out at 200 mora each for the Fatui Cicin Mage!
Here's the full elite map (except for Eye of the Storm)

Q: Why would anyone bother killing elites if they drop so little?
A: Each elite drops very little on its own but if you use a good route and become efficient at clearing them, you can add it into your daily routine that will net you 30k-300k mora a day. Here's how:
The daily limit of elites you can kill is 400 and the daily limit for common mobs is 2000.
Hitting the daily limit on elites, you would have earned at least 80k mora (400x 200mora), not counting the common mobs along the way.
Reaching the daily limit on common mobs (not easily achievable without a good route), is another 80k mora (2000x 40mora).
You might ask, "How can anyone make 300k mora a day? Even if they reach both daily limit, it only adds up to 160k mora?"
Answer: Certain elites of higher difficulty are worth 600 mora! Therefore it is possible to make 400x 600mora = 240k mora from elites alone and another 80k mora on top of that in common mobs.
Fun Fact: These tougher elites can be found guarding a precious chest the first time you encounter them!
The 32 Elites That Drop 600 Mora (patch 2.2):
To maximize my daily mora income, I have devised a route around the 31 elites that drop 600 mora.
600 Mora Elite route each world is worth roughly 25k-35k Mora depending on the number of common mobs and 200-mora elites you clear along the way
and it takes about 35-40 minutes to clear depending on your gear
Map run down:
- 31 elites worth 600 mora
- 8 - 36 elites worth 200 mora (nearby)
Also see, Cicin route for 4.8k mora per world every 12h
Note:
- doing this route 10 times will take a non-trivial amount of time (5 - 6h at least)
- If you do the 200s as well, you'll only need to clear 4-6 worlds for about 160-200k mora (3 - 4h grind).
If you prefer to follow along, here's the Latest route video (patch 2.1, 4 worlds, 160k mora)
You might ask, "How do I find 4 - 10 worlds to clear?"
Well, I have a way for you to share elites with other elite grinders!
you can do a trade for 4 worlds

Honorable Mentions:
Cicins, not to be confused with a Fatui cicin mage, are worth 3x the normal value of a common mob (drops 91-149 mora, 120 mora on average) and they come in groups of 2 or 3.

Edit Notes for Patch 2.1:
- world required to reach cap from 18 down to 10
- a route to reach common mob cap extend the route too much and is dropped
(it still exists if you need it, contact me directly)
Edit Notes for Patch 2.2:
- Added one more 600 in Tsurumi, 3 possible spawns based on a 3 day cycle (32 total)
- Updated Kill count (as of Nov 16, 2021)
