As we all know Hutao's banner ended today. And I dumped a grand total of 62 fates into it trying to get her. Honestly this could have still gone really bad for me too because my last 5* was none other than Ganyu so with the 50/50 I could totally have gotten Qiqi or something (I think it's becoming a meme that Qiqi is the least desired 5* these days? I'm still missing Qiqi though come home plz! I got Cocogoat milk! (ಥ﹏ಥ))
Anyway I'm a fan of the streamer AsianGuyGenshin and his "secret" to getting the gachas is to go to the "naughty corner" which you'll see here.

So again this is my second closest to pity after Ganyu (76) and I'd done 14 at once yesterday to bring my total to 61 since Xiao and Keqing. Nothing! So today I decided to finally get the Boar King done (procrastination ftw!) but not to get him done or anything just because I had 60 gems left after yesterday. Today's commissions got me to 120 so I was just 40 short. What's 40 gems? Boar King! Done and done.
Speaking of which have I mentioned how much I love how broken Zhongli is? I've seen the people who died to this guy and get surprised by the achievement. (One day I'll go for that too. Mark it on your calendars people! lol) But I was doing this and I forgot it shows up as soon as you kill the last boar. I was still trying to pick up the last meat and then wondering if I should go back to the torch to get my Sheer Cold down before fighting it. So when it started attacking my brain wasn't even there. You see the picture right? That's the whole fight. Ok well there was one time I held Zhongli's attack too long so he did a charged and I ended up looking at the other end of it. You know what I mean. It threw snow at me and ran at me and the camera was this close and there was the Sheer Cold frame going on so I wasn't really seeing anything. Before I knew it. Dead. Achievement. And I had more meat to go pick up.
Anyway with these gems I had enough for one final Intertwined Fate. Should I just go for it? What if it's a dud too? So I remembered AsianGuy's stupid "secret spots" shtick and decided why not.
And boom. I'm saying bye bye to Venti for the second time. [emoji]
