Commissions [Mondstadt & Liyue]
🟆"Beginner's Luck", "Making Do", "Poet Vs. Paycheck", "All's Well That Ends Well", "This Novel Is Amazing!", "Get Your Own Emergency Food!"
◈Commissions◈ (currently 6 achievements but there are more)
(A/N: As commissions are random each day, check to see if you have a commission that is applicable for a hidden achievement.)
Commission required: 'A Diamond in the Rough...'
➳During the commission, you will have to select out of 3 jades and try to get the highest-value one. Ask for a closer look, and then walk away from the stand until the jades despawn.
➳There will be a step difference, but slowly walk to the stand until the jades respawn. The one that does first will be the right one. Repeat this a couple of times to double check.
➳Alternatively, you can also look at the colour of each, and whichever one is lightest in shade and brighter will be it. However, this is a bit more difficult and unpredictable.
Commission required: 'The Limitations of an Adventurer'
Herman will ask you to bring back a training dummy for Ellin from a nearby Hilichurl camp.
➳Destroy the dummy after defeating the Hilichurls (or during) in order to get the materials (rather than selecting 'Dig' to get an intact training dummy).
Achievement will issue after reporting back to Herman.
Commissions required: 'One Ship, Two Ships, Three Ships...', 'Sorry, Linling!'
Linling will ask you to count the ships entering/exiting the docks (helping her do her job). After talking to the 3 children on the docks, you will receive notes recounting what they said. The answer can be different each time you receive this commission, so calculate using all of the notes and then answer wrongly when reporting back to Linling. This will trigger another commission the next day called 'Sorry, Linling!'. Here you simply need to complete this commission to get the achievement (you will need to review goods on different ships to help Linling redeem herself for her job).
Commission required: 'For Old Time's Sake'
➳There are no variations/choices needed for this achievement.
➳Defeat 2 Pyro Slimes, 1 large Pyro Slime and 3 Electro Cicins to rescue Chang the Ninth (some Cicins will only spawn nearby when close enough). Then collect 3 Pages for him.
Achievement will issue after talking to Granny Ruoxin (completing the commission).
Commission required: 'This Novel Is Amazing!'
Chang the Ninth will ask you to help deliver his manuscript to the Feiyun Commerce Guild for a competition. As you walk towards the location, Paimon will ask if you want to take a look at his manuscript. Say yes, then the achievement will appear after you click off his manuscript.
Commission required: 'Food Delivery'
Sara from Good Hunter will ask you to help deliver the food to a client.
➳After you're received the food, a timer will start. Open your inventory, go to Quest Items and eat the food.
Achievement will issue after eating it.
