Regarding theme 1 of the discussion event...
Why I like him so much was because of how good his role in the story was implemented and handled. He was important to everything while being a bystander, but also in the middle of it all.
He was the reason why I actually cried during the archon quest.
Plus he is incredibly adorable with how obvious he was from the start, while trying to shroud himself in mystery... but the reveal didn't came as a surprise at all.
It's hard not to love him in my opinion.
