UX Improvements @ Hoyolab 📄

Sorry it takes a while to make this post. I wanna accompany it with something useful. This idea is what sticks to me most. Not just since today, but for a few months now, as can be seen here that I've included some of these ideas into my go-to Survey List [emoji]

1.) Pin Post Function

Important to highlight: content list, guide collection, etc. Just one or two of this would be nice 👌

2.) Group Post / Series System

In the case where a post is consisted of several different parts and posted separately. Or if a post belongs to a specific group one has posted before.

My idea is, once a post is identified to belong to a certain group (for example, mine is called 'Shopping Catalogue Guide'), then whenever I make a new post in the future, and tag it as part of this group, the system can provide this connection suggestions at the bottom of the page.

Because right now, if I want to find past/previous posts belonging to that group, I have to dig up all the past articles, copy all the links, then type them in my article. And then repeat all these steps to all my older posts that belong to the same group. When I add want to a new post into this group in the future, I have to go through all these older posts again to update the link to my new post. Eventually, it will become a lot of work, especially in the future, where the links will come in dozens, not just a couple few. Seems impractical if the system can just make it automatic instead.

Or use the search bar. (That is, if authors type the titles in consistent formatting). But not even all users have that initiative.

Search result: kinda works, as long as you hit the keywords right + post title consistent with the rest of the series. As you can see, mine has only been consistent these past few months. The rest are not present because even I'd have to dig up those old posts manually 👀 💦

Judging from this April 2022 Content Creator Survey, turns out they are working on this. After I sent out my suggestion, it seems

3.) Increase Status Word Limit

I would like to include more about what I do, vs present state. If 500 words is too much, at least 100 words+.

Seems easiest to implement, amongst all the other ideas in this list. Unless they worry about space limit? Though that'd be strange considering this website has literal thousands of posts, consists of millions of words and images.

4.) Hide Post

This ability is already in the system (with mods). Now just make it available to normal users, but limit to only hide their own post.
