Foreword
Hello everyone! This time, I’m bringing you a guide on the character Xilonen, delving into her skill mechanics and constellation effects. Without further ado, let's take a look~
✦Contents✦
[Character Role]: Xilonen is a Geo support character with healing abilities. She can serve as a DPS character in specific team compositions.
[Character Mechanics] By casting the Elemental Skill, Xilonen enters the Nightsoul's Blessing state. In this state, different effects are granted based on the number of elemental types in the party.
[Character Strength]: In terms of support abilities, Xilonen offers great versatility and can be paired with a wide range of team compositions in the current version. However, due to her Talents effects, when used as a DPS character, the team must include three or more Geo characters, which makes the overall performance somewhat average.
[Constellation Recommendation]: At C0, Xilonen already has decent support capabilities. At C1, she provides interruption resistance and reduce Nightsoul point consumption, extending her Nightsoul point time limit. C2 grants various buffs based on the elemental types of other team members, making it highly recommended. At C6, the duration of the Nightsoul's Blessing state is significantly extended, increasing damage while also providing healing.
✦Character Role✦
Xilonen is a Geo Sword character. When not paired with three or more Geo characters, she primarily serves as a support and healing role. She reduces enemy elemental resistances corresponding to the elements in the team, and upon casting her Elemental Burst, she provides healing for on-field characters. This makes her highly versatile across various team compositions.
In a team with three or more Geo characters, Xilonen functions as a DPS character, offering significant bonuses to Normal and Plunging Attack DMG, while also dealing additional damage based on her DEF. Her Elemental Burst shifts from a healing effect to an offensive capability, enhancing her overall damage output.
✦Character Mechanics✦
Combat Mechanics
In combat, Xilonen gains a Geo Elemental Infusion based on her DEF after activating her Elemental Skill, and she will deal Nightsoul-aligned Geo DMG.
Xilonen has 3 Samplers. The initial recorded Source Sample within each Sampler will be Geo. For each party member who is Electro/Pyro/Cryo/Hydro, 1 Geo Sampler will change to that corresponding Element. The Geo Sampler will always be active, while the other elements activate when her Nightsoul points hit the maximum and all her Nightsoul points is consumed. Once activated, they will decrease nearby opponents' corresponding Elemental RES and provide a certain degree of interruption resistance.

Xilonen's Elemental Burst and Passive Talents will also change based on the Element Type of the Samplers. When there are 1 to 2 Geo characters in the team, Xilonen can gain Nightsoul points through Normal or Plunging Attacks during the Nightsoul's Blessing state, and her Elemental Burst will periodically heal the characters on the field. When there are 3 to 4 Geo characters, Xilonen will receive a significant boost to Normal and Plunging Attack DMG, and her Elemental Burst will become two instances of AoE Geo DMG. Thus, Xilonen's role positioning will vary depending on the team composition.

Ways to Gain Nightsoul Points:
When Xilonen uses her Elemental Skill, she will gain 45 Nightsoul points. Utilizing her Passive Talent ability, if there are 2 or fewer Geo characters in the team, Xilonen can gain 35 Nightsoul points through Normal or Plunging Attacks while in the Nightsoul's Blessing state. Once the Nightsoul points are depleted, she can no longer gain Nightsoul points through this method, and the Nightsoul points will last for a maximum of 9 seconds, after which it will be immediately depleted.
Since Xilonen's Nightsoul Point Limit is 90 points, the optimal play style is to use her Elemental Skill followed by two Normal or Plunging Attacks to activate the effect that reduces enemy resistance.
Exploration in the Open World:
During the Nightsoul's Blessing state, Xilonen receives boosts to her movement speed and climbing ability. In the Natlan region, climbing does not consume stamina. When the Nightsoul Transmission is triggered, it also restores a portion of Phlogiston. This provides significant benefits in both combat and exploration.

✦Character Strength✦
From a skill mechanism perspective, Xilonen possesses very strong support abilities and can be adapted to a wide variety of team compositions. When there are 3 to 4 Geo characters in the team, Xilonen's role shifts to that of a DPS character. However, her sustained damage output is relatively weak, and at low constellations, she can only serve as a sub-DPS. Nevertheless, her supportive capabilities are undeniable, making her highly recommended. Additionally, her enhanced movement and climbing abilities in the open world greatly enhance the player experience!
✦Constellation Recommendation✦
Constellation Recommendation
At C0, Xilonen already offers strong support capabilities. She reduces enemy resistance based on her teammates' elements. At C1, she gains increased interruption resistance and reduced Nightsoul points consumption, extending the duration of the Nightsoul's Blessing state. At C2, she provides different buffs based on the elemental types of other characters in the team. At C6, her damage output significantly increases, the duration of her Nightsoul's Blessing state is greatly extended, and she also offers additional healing effects.
✦Recommended Teams✦
Thanks to Xilonen's powerful Elemental RES reduction effects, she can almost fit into any team composition, except those primarily focused on Dendro or Anemo damage.

Strategy: Furina and Xiangling use their Elemental Skills and Bursts in succession, then switch to Xilonen. After unleashing her Elemental Skill, use Normal Attacks to gain Nightsoul points. Once the Nightsoul points hit the maximum, switch to Mualani to unleash her Elemental Skill. She collides with enemies to gain stacks, and every three stacks will allow for an enhanced Normal Attack.
Strength Analysis: After using Xilonen's Elemental Skill, you can gain Nightsoul points through Normal Attacks. Once the Nightsoul points hit the maximum, you can reduce the Elemental RES of nearby enemies based on the Elemental Types of other characters in your party. By combining with Mualani's Nightsoul Burst, you can further enhance Xilonen's DEF, which in turn boosts both her healing and damage output. Furina can provide a significant damage boost, while Xiangling can help Mualani trigger the Vaporize reaction, further increasing overall output.

For a team centered around Xilonen as a DPS character, she should equip the Obsidian Codex or other damage-focused Artifacts, while Kachina should equip the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City set.
Strategy: Use Furina and Gorou to unleash their Elemental Skills and Elemental Bursts in succession, then switch to Kachina to unleash her Elemental Burst. After that, switch to Xilonen to deal damage using her Elemental Skill, and then use her Normal and Plunging Attacks for damage output.
Strength Analysis: Thanks to Xilonen's Passive Talents, she serves as a DPS character in Geo teams, allowing for impressive damage when paired with other support characters. Additionally, you can replace Furina with main DPS characters like Navia, letting Xilonen function as a sub-DPS to supplement damage while providing Geo RES reduction. Goro can provide a boost to Geo CRIT DMG, while Furina can also offer a significant damage increase.
