Hello everyone! This time, we're bringing you a detailed guide for the Archon Quest in version 5.1 —"Beyond the Smoke and Mirrors"! I'm sure all Travelers have experienced a journey through Natlan and have gained some understanding of its story and culture. Now, we're bringing you a guide to the brand-new main storyline quest in Natlan! Without further ado, let's take a look together!
Quest Walkthrough
Accept Quest
We arrive at the Adventurers' Guild in Natlan to take on the quest.
Enter the Domains
As the quest progresses, after defeating the two Fatui at the entrance, we open the pathway into the Domains. Along the way into the Domains, we can find a total of three treasure chests. After defeating the Fatui guarding the treasure chest, we attempt to break the spell locking the mechanism. After pressing the mechanism, the patterns on the wheel will begin to rotate. We need to press the mechanism again when the wheel aligns with the correct position to stop it in place.
There are three mechanisms that need to be activated, with one requiring players to defeat the guarding monsters to unlock it. It's recommended to adjust this mechanism last to make it easier for players to find the correct position to complete the puzzle. Additionally, players can use the hint images to determine the pattern styles.
Enter the Battlefields
We can join the battle through the Bulletin Board at the arena entrance.
Next, we will take a hot air balloon to reach different battlefields. After accepting different quest objectives, you can interact with the hot air balloon to reach the battlefield.
Upon arriving at the quest location, players can interact with the designated point in the image to change their team composition.
Then the Abyss will launch a full-scale assault, and we will provide support in various locations during the upcoming battles. In battle, we encounter a new monster — the Tenebrous Mimiflora. It has Shield points similar to those of the Abyssal Pylons, so it's recommended to use attacks with Nightsoul properties to quickly break through its shield.
In the final battle, we need to prioritize destroying the nearby Abyssal Pylons, then break the core inside. The Pyro Archon will assist us, allowing us to break through the shield more quickly.
Using the ability of the Koholasaurus allows us to quickly move between battlefields.
Conclusion
The quest walkthrough for "Beyond the Smoke and Mirrors" is quite clear, and the stealth section are relatively easy. In the "The Rainbow Destined to Burn", there are more combat elements, but the difficulty isn't very high. When facing new enemies, it's advisable to use attacks with the Nightsoul property to prioritize breaking their shields.
