I am having trouble linking my PSN account with my Hoyoverse account.
I've been playing ZZZ on my PC Hoyoverse account and wanted to try to play on PS5. When I downloaded the game on the PS5, it didn't give me an option to log into my Hoyoverse account, it just automatically skip the login and show the 'play' button.
Once in game, in the option > Account > User Center menu/browser, it gives me a single option to link an account, but I can't link it to my Hoyoverse account because it state "The account (or email) is already in use."
This linking page on the Playstation does state my PSN account name and an UID, and one single line for linking the account. It doesn't give me any other info as the usual Hoyoverse account management page or the same menu accessed from ZZZ on my PC, no email address, no currently linked account, no other option but to "Link account."
And as stated above, I can't link my only existing Hoyoverse account that I've been playing ZZZ on.
On the main Hoyoverse website, I even tried to request password reset on the Hoyoverse website using my PSN account name, but it says no account uses my PSN account name either. I've also tried logging in using every email address I have to see if I've used it before just as a means to check if I had accidentally linked any email addresses, but no account uses those other email addresses.
An additional note, a long time ago, I did give Genshin Impact a try on my Playstation without linking any Hoyoverse account since I did not have one back then. I tried reinstalling Genshin to see if there are any option there too, but no.
Anyone had similar issues and a way to resolve it?
