Wish system
Besides FREE characters mentioned in my other post
All other characters 4★ and 5★ are obtained from wishing. Wishes have 2 forms - blue ball (standard banner wish) and purple ball (limited time banner wish). 160 primogems = 1 wish, never convert your primogems in blue wishes, thats because standard banner has a lot less powerful characters compared to limited time banners. Wishes are also called pulls. When you approach guarantee, starting from soft pity, your chances of getting a 5★ gradually rise to 100% - hard pity. Pity = amount of pulls spent on one type of banner, carries over to next banner of same type (4 types of banners are described below), never goes away, but if you forget your pity count and log in after 12+ months since last pull - history is lost, it expired, but pity did not. After getting any 5★, pity count is reset to 0.
- Graph below is accurate for Character banners. Blue line - odds of getting a 5★ at specific pity counts, yellow columns - these show number of players (users of paimon moe website), who got a 5★ on each pity count. Data is from 47 million wishes spent by players on Raiden's
debute banner.
- As you can see, for Character banner, soft pity starts at 74 pulls and ends on hard pity 90 pulls. For Weapon banner its -10, so soft pity starts at 64 pulls and ends on hard pity 80 pulls.
You will most likely get a 5★ before you reach hard pity.

- 73 - 0.6%

Standard banner
4★ - guaranteed every 10 pulls, base chance to get one 5.1%, then 50% chance to be a random 4★ character or one of the 4★ weapons listed in details.
5★ - guaranteed every 90 pulls, base chance to get one 0.6%, then 50% chance to be a random 5★ character or one of the 5★ weapons listed in details.
Character banner
4★ - guaranteed every 10 pulls, base chance to get one 5.1%, then 50% chance to be what you see on the picture of the banner (1 in 3 to get 4★ you want) or a random 4★ character / one of the 4★ weapons listed in details.
5★ - guaranteed every 90 pulls, base chance to get one 0.6%, then 50% chance to be what you see on the picture of the banner or a random 5★ character listed in details.
If you didn't get what was on the banner's picture - its called losing the 50/50, next 4★ or 5★ will be guaranteed to be what is on the banner's picture.
Capturing radiance - exists only for character banner, occurs when you are about to lose 5★ 50/50, special animation plays and converts your about to be loss into a win. Base chance of occuring 10%, guaranteed after 3 50/50 losses in a row.
Weapon banner
It has two 5★ weapons on the picture, that means when you win - you get one of the shown 5★ weapons.
( ! ) Before wishing, pick a 5★ weapon you want in the Epitomized Path.
4★ - guaranteed every 10 pulls, base chance to get one 6%, then 75% chance to be what you see on the picture of the banner (1 in 5 to get 4★ you want) or a random 4★ character / one of the 4★ weapons listed in details.
5★ - guaranteed every 80 pulls, base chance to get one 0.7%, 75% chance to get one of the two featured 5★ weapons, 25% chance to lose to a random standard banner 5★ weapon.
If you didn't get what was on the banner's picture - its called losing the 72/25, next 5★ will be guaranteed to be one of the weapons on the banner's picture.
Epitomized Path (Weapon Selection) - If you pull the other featured 5★ or lost 75/25, then next 5★ is guaranteed to be your chosen weapon.
- Fate Point will NOT be carried over to the next Weapon banner, so don't pull if you can't reach solf pity twice, which is around 130 pulls on average;
- Changing your choice in the selection will RESET the Fate Points to 0.
Chronicled Wish banner
Once in a while we get it, there you can pull your desired (selected one) character or weapon, if you lose 50/50 (for weapons its also 50/50) - your loss will not be a random 5★ from Standard banner, but one of the featured characters on Chronicled Wish banner, same goes for weapons. Pity system is different, 90 is the hard pity for weapons and characters.
( ! ) 4★ characters you get here are all from one region that this Chronicled Path banner represents (Inazuma for example), but 4★ weapons are the usual ones.
- Fate Point will NOT be carried over to the next Chronicled Wish banner, so don't pull if you can't reach solf pity twice, which is around 150 pulls on average;
- Changing your choice in the selection will RESET the Fate Points to 0.
