In response to "Farming Food!" (Raw Meat, Sunsettia, Lotus Heads, Fish, and Crabs routes; Fowl added upon request)

From Probably a Guide

Edit: Fowl added upon request. I may have missed some fowl in the screenshots below. Also please excuse this for being a bit sloppy. I was only intending this to be a quick-ish reply to another post instead of an actual guide. Hopefully this is helpful for others as well.

My response to https://www.hoyolab.com/genshin/article/407777 would have been too long so I made a new post to link as a comment there.

This is from personal knowledge so there may be good spots/routes I missed for Raw Meat, Sunsettia, Lotus Heads, Fish, and Crabs. This is not to list all the routes. These are just the good/efficient ones I know off the top of my head based on the materials that the post asked for.

Sunsettia, Fish, 4 Raw Meat, 2 Crane groups

Teleport to Starfell Lake. Move from east to west.

Black are the two crane groups.

Purple is the fish.

Red are sunsettia spawns (3 trees) and the oval red includes sunsettia that are on the ground as well as the tree.

The yellow is where you'll find two creatures that drop 2 meat each. Sprint up to them with Kaeya and use your elemental skill on them (or somebody with a fast AOE attack with a wide range in front). You won't need to snipe the creatures with a bow if done this way.

There are ducks and fish all to way to the west (in the Monstadt lake), but I feel like these aren't worth going for. Feel free to go for them though.

In reference to the red oval and yellow circle: there are also 3 sunsettias that spawn where the little animals are at (not including the ones in the tree). I just picked them up earlier today on the way to a commission.

13 Raw Meat, 2 Matsutake, 3 Sunsettia, and low level artifacts

Teleport to the Tianqiu Valley teleport. Move northwards/northeast.

First red is a squirrel.

Second and last red is the fox-like creature.

The group of 4 reds are 2 adult boars and 2 baby boars.

The yellow are the artifact spawns.

The green is the matsutake mushrooms.

The blue is the sunsettia tree.

10 Fish, 2 Raw Meat (1 boar), and ducks

Teleport to the Springvale lake. The boar is at the south side of the lake.

Black for ducks.

5 Fish and 3 Lotus Heads

Go to that tiny water spot between two waterfalls (where my character marker is at).

3 Fish, 3 Lotus Heads, Crane(s?), Crabs (2?)

Between the Mt. Hula and Nantianmen teleports (or better yet, the Azdaha domain teleport if you have that teleport unlocked).

I can't confirm on how often the crabs are there, but I do usually see a couple scurrying around on the northwest-ish of the little pond where the fish and lotus heads are at.

The crane here is often found dead with its two drumsticks already floating in the water.

Crabs, Lotus Heads, and Crane groups

Yellow is the approximate lotus head spawns (I can't remember exactly).

Red are the crab spawns. I don't remember exactly where the crabs are at and how many spawn.

Use Kaeya or whatever tall adult male you wish to use. They can sprint in the water here. The others cannot sprint in the water here. Not being able to sprint will make catching crabs really hard.

Black are the crane groups. I know there was a crane spawn on the northwest, but I didn't see any when I checked just now. They might have been removed in one of the updates as I've noticed certain spawns have disappeared after some updates.

Crabs and 2 Crane groups

I recommend spawning at one of the teleports near the 6-8 spawn (I can't remember the exact number that spawns there) and starting the farm from there. If a crab manages to run away, you can always go a bit away from the spawn for them and then come back. They should reappear then. There are inconsistent crab spawns that I haven't figured out the conditions for. But there are the guaranteed crab spawns that I numbered.

6 Raw Meat (3 Boars)

Right around that teleport point that my character indicator is at. A boar will also charge you right as you teleport there. It is a very rude boar.

Fish and Lotus Heads

Sunsettia

There are the pigeons on the bridge to Monstadt, but I don't think it is worth the time to go there for them.

Lots of Sunsettia, 6 Raw Meat, and one crane group

The red circles are estimates from my memory of each individual tree. There might be a few more in the north and southwest, but these are most if not all of them.

Yellow for boars. 2 on the north in a pen. 1 at the south.

Black for cranes.

Fish, Lotus Heads, and Fowl

If you are desperate for fish and lotus heads, there are somewhere around where I marked on the map.

Red for fish.

Yellow for lotus heads.

Left black for single crane. Right black for 3 ducks. There are probably more birds in this route?

Crabs and Cranes

If you are desperate for crabs, then spawn at the geo artifact domain and then make your way east.

Red are the guaranteed crab spawns from what I remember.

Yellow are the weird crab spawns where they will spawn late after you pass by or exist in the area a bit.

I'm not 100% on the exact locations and number of the yellow spawns.

Black are the crane groups.

Raw Meat

Meat symbol marks the overpopulation of boars. I don't like farming here because it isn't as efficient for gathering other things as well as the boars run around willy nilly after you make one upset. But if you do hit a bunch of boars here, then there is a lot of meat to be had.

Sunsettia and Ore

If you are farming the daily ore spawns (if you have the mining thing unlocked with Wagner at Mondstadt), then this is good for grabbing the ores and sunsettia.

Teleport to the Dawn Winery statue of the seven then go northwards.

Highly probably daily ore spawn for when the ore spawns are outside of Stormterror's Lair (even if Wagner didn't mark it)

1 sunsettia tree

2 sunsettia trees

Possible ore spawn

Extras added for Fowl

Cranes (Black), Sunsettia (Red), Boar (Yellow)

Cranes and Ducks (Black)

Crane (black) and 2 Fish (yellow)

If more efficient fowl locations are needed, please let me know. I'll call it good here for now.

EDIT (06/19/2021):

Adding some white iron ore spots to maybe help someone out. Also a sandbearer tree spot. Again resources shown are not a complete list. Resources shown are just ones that I think may be the most efficient to farm (regarding time) from my memory.

White Iron Ore (approximate locations)

White Iron Ore (Liyue is for desperate people)

Liyue isn't very efficient for white iron ore. There is a lot of white iron ore in Liyue, but they are kind of out of the way to get to.

Mt. Aocang is arguably the best of the Liyue places to go to if you have an ore detector in your party (like Ningguang). Otherwise I would not recommend it unless you have the white ore locations memorized. I know approximately where they are and the route to go look for them, but if I didn't have Ningguang, it would be much harder as she reminds me and pinpoints it for me.

Dihua Marsh is the second least desperate and the easiest to farm once you get there. It's a pain to get there though. You have to traverse across the water. The place is underground with some hilichurls in there, but there's a good chunk of white iron ore in there.

The area between Lingju Pass and Qingxu Pool has a bit of white iron ore, but it's such a pain to get to. Also you'll want an ore detector in your party or else mining here can be an even bigger pain. Make sure to interact with all the "ore piles" in this area as sometimes white iron ore (and crystal as well) will pop out from them. Usually just normal iron ore pops out from them though. There are ~3 white iron ore in each of the smaller pink circles on the bottom of the Liyue white iron ore screenshots.

So to sum up the white iron ore maps:

Farm the red circles in Monstadt.

Farm the yellow circles if you are a bit impatient.

Farm the pink circles if you like pain.

Sandbearer Wood

As trees "respawn" their wood after every 10th tree, you can just go around these trees in a continuous circle and chop sandbearer wood forever.
