It has been a long time since then but Azhdaha really was the "king" of Tianqiu in ancient times. We know this because there's a World Quest that talks about it along the same lines. Azhdaha was defeated in ancient times but Tianqiu will never be the same again. This stuff is all Chasm lore and that's what Zhiqiong is talking about.

In other words it's more of that interpreting the information we get properly before using it as proofs thing.

Anyway Azhdaha in lore goes by a few names but as far as I can tell Adakka is actually the name of a palm tree. I think it's just MiHoYo poking fun at how history gets messy the older it becomes.
