Hello, I'm back! It's exam season right now so the next few posts might take a while, but for now - here's a guide on Reverist Calico, aka Felis, and her performance in Elysian realm! I'll give some suggestions for signets and playstyle, and with the introduction of the new signets, the style will be slightly different compared to previous guides.

Gear: I'm using S rank Felis with the FTP chakram from the forge, and full Hubble set.

There aren't currently many weapon options, but you could probably do better in terms of stigmata, I just personally don't want to take them off my stronger characters.

Basic Summary

Reverist Calico is an IMG-type, ice damage dealer that focuses on frequent combo attacks, and using her Ult to trigger Runaway state for more combos.

As a note, here's all the names for Felis' attacks:

Combo attack -- the one that uses the mood bar at the bottom

Paw Barrage -- weapon active skill, switches the current mood

Predation -- considered both QTE and weapon skill, switches mood and is triggered after using combos twice

Megaton Furball -- Ultimate, tri***** Runaway state for 10s and fills both mood bars

Runaway state -- higher damage, switching mood fills the mood bar

There are 2 different builds here for Felis, one is better for higher difficulties, and is more combat focused. This starts out stronger than the second build but has a smaller potential.

The second build is more money focused, and is better for lower difficulties, though it can be shifted towards combat if you get lucky in shops. It starts out a bit weaker but can get quite strong by the end.

Special Adjustments

Every character has certain special adjustments in Elysian Realm to make it both easier for newer players to use them and to allow them to fight solo in the realm.

Pardofelis' Special Adjustments are:

- Valkyrie stats and skill level are adjusted to Lv. 80 equivalent

This is the same for all Elysian Realm valkyries, to put them on a level playing field.

- Combo ATK, Paw Barrage and Predation restore 50 HP on hit once every 0.5s.

This is nice for healing chip damage, but you won't be relying on it much and it's largely unimportant.

- Start with 500 extra Shiny Silvers (unaffected by other effects)

- Shop selling price reduced by 20%

These two adjustments make a certain build possible, that uses a lot of Felis' own signets. It's more recommended for lower difficulties, though I'll still mention it later.

- Choose an extra Elysia Signet at the beginning

Every playable Flame-Chaser has this (except technically Hua/HoS?), and for Felis it lets you split your focus between coins and damage, or go full damage, 2 builds I'll explain below.

- Cannot be deployed when Reverist Calico is on the support team.

Similar to Bright Knight: Excelsis and now Midnight Absinthe, you can only have one of them in the party at once.

Exclusive Signets

Pardofelis' exclusive signets are focused around Combo ATKs and Ults, with one specifically focused around coins.

Blessing of the Tailpiece

Upgrade bonus: 80% more Total DMG > 100% more Total DMG; reduce Megaton Furball's CD by 2s (CD: 5s) > reduce CD by 4s (CD: 3s)

Blessing of Phantasma

Upgrade bonus: 180% more Ice DMG > 240% more Ice DMG

Blessing of Hidden Claws

Upgrade bonus: 5 Shiny Silvers > 10 Shiny Silvers; Ice DMG 45% > Ice DMG 60%

Blessing of Cat's Eyes

Upgrade bonus: increase Total DMG by 10% > increase Total DMG by 25%; adds: 5th stack tri***** a blast that deals 1500% ATK of Ice DMG within a 12m radius of the caster. The blast also removes all stacks.

Blessing of Nighteye

Upgrade bonus: 100% more Total DMG > 125% more Total DMG; reduces Paw Barrage's CD by 2s > reduces CD by 3s

Recommended Signets

I have two different recommendations here, the first will be combat focused, more for higher difficulties.

The second will be quite similar to the first, and so I'll only list the differences, it's more money focused, and I personally find it more fun.

(These recommendations are just what I personally found fun, feel free to experiment and put your own recommendations in the comments below!)

Combat focused

- Exclusive Signets -

Most important:

Blessing of the Tailpiece and Blessing of Cat's Eyes+

(This is assuming you have the upgraded [Cat's Eyes] signet, otherwise [Phantasma] is better)

Tailpiece is great for this, especially the upgraded signet. The base CD for the Ult is 20s, so with this signet you can get it down to about 15s or 9s with the upgrade. The Combo ATK dmg boost is also very good with this build.

You'll be in Runaway state most of the time with this build, so Cat's Eyes+ is good burst damage. The main draw of this signet is the explosion, and so without the upgrade Phantasma is more worth it.

Others:

Blessing of Phantasma > Blessing of Hidden Claws > Blessing of Nighteye

Phantasma is mostly good for the increased Ult damage. The longer duration for Runaway state is fine if you don't have Tailpiece+, but with the upgrade you can get 100% uptime without this signet.

Hidden Claws in this build is best for the Ice DMG bonus, with the shiny silver as a nice side bonus. The shiny silver will be a bigger part of the next build, but here it's generally unimportant.

Paw Barrage will really not run out of charges, so that part of the signet is really unnecessary. The extra damage for Paw Barrage/Predation is good for this build, and you may prefer it over Hidden Claws because of that, but I like the extra coins because of the potential to buy more signets from the shop.

- Flame Chaser Signets -

Kevin

With the frequent use of Ultimates, as well as the Runaway state after, Kevin's signets are very good. Since the Ult is a single hit, and Runaway state is NOT a burst mode, the first signet [Blade] is best. The key signet you want here is [Echo of the Deliverer], that extends the duration to 8s, which allows some of the Runaway state attacks to be buffed as well.

Eden

Since Felis' Ult costs 125 SP, Eden is important both for some SP regen and her second core, [Echo]. The high SP cost plus the CD reduction allows you to string together 2 Ults for a total of about 22s of Final Echo. The SP regen is actually not as important as you would expect, I only had issues with SP during boss fights, since there's only one enemy to hit and get SP from. There's no specific signet that's important, just the typical helpful ones are fine.

Vill-V

Felis uses the weapon skill very frequently to switch between moods and trigger Predation, and so Vill-V's signets are good. Paw Barrage and Predation both count as weapon skills as well, so her signets help there as well. The only possible issue is the core skill does Physical DMG, while Felis is more focused on Ice DMG.

Other

If you haven't unlocked Vill-V yet, you probably should, she's pretty good. Felis' signets are also good, but are much better for the second build. Kosma's and Griseo's signets, specifically those buffing weapon skills, Ults and combo ATKs are good to buy in the shop if you see them, with the 20% discount you can buy a lot from the shop.

If you haven't unlocked any of the new Flame-Chasers yet (why? how?), then Su or Hua are fine.

- Playstyle -

Start with a combo -- weapon skill -- combo -- weapon skill, to use up the mood bar that you start with.

The second weapon skill should trigger Predation, which connects to basic ATK seq 4, and seq 5 recovers mood, allowing you to use the combo again.

Once you have enough SP, use the Ult, then alternate combos and weapon skills until Runaway state is over.

By then, you should have the Ult ready again, so just repeat the cycle.

- Support Valkyries -

VC for gather + Haxxor Bunny for Ice support

Alternate options are AE for elemental breach or LE for early on SP regen (though you shouldn't need it)

- Remembrance Sigils -

(There's so many sigils now I'm just going to focus on what you should bring at the end)

Final Boss: Kevin's [It Will Be Written], Eden's [Dreamful Gold] or Vill-V's [Falling in Past Light]

If you haven't unlocked them yet, [Tin Flask] or even [MOTH Insignia] are fine

Money focused

- Exclusive Signets -

Most important:

Blessing of Hidden Claws and Blessing of the Tailpiece

Since this build is money focused, your main signets are going to be ones that give you more money. Hidden Claws gives up to 50 extra Shiny Silver per stage while the upgraded version gives up to 100 per stage, adding up to quite a bit throughout the whole run.

[Tailpiece] is the more important of the two recommendations in the combat build, which is why it's the one to take here.

Others:

Blessing of Cat's Eyes+ > Blessing of Phantasma > Blessing of Nighteye

Similar to the previous build, [Cat's Eyes+] > [Phantasma] > [Cat's Eyes] (not upgraded)

- Flame Chaser Signets -

Pardofelis

You should try to get Felis' [Merchant's Philosophy] (gain $ based on current $) and [Shiny & Valuable] (extra $ from enemies) as soon as possible. You also want to upgrade them as soon as possible to get as much money as possible over the run. In terms of offensive signets, [Setsuna Paw], the enhaced signet that buffs Ults is best.

Other

Generally, the recommendations for the other build are the same here, priority is still on Kevin/Eden/Vill-V. However, you'll also be able to buy a lot more of other signets from the shops, and what you buy can also affect which portals you should go for.

When buying/upgrading signets, try to always leave around 1000 Shiny Silver, until the last shop. This is because the [Merchant's Philosophy] signet bonus caps at a current $ value of 1000, so to get the most out of it you should stay above that number. 1000 Silvers is also the trigger for the core skill, so if you want it active in the final boss, don't go too low under 1000 in the final shop.

The buying strategy should generally be: Buy at least 2 of a Flame-Chaser's signets -- Aim for their portals to get their core signet

If you don't care about their normal signets but really want the core, don't worry about the signets you buy being any good. If you really don't want anything at the shop, you could upgrade some signets, but buying signets to get them out of the pool for the next shop is also an option.

- Playstyle -

- Support Valkyries -

- Remembrance Sigils -

These 3 things are all the same as the previous build.

Felis is surprisingly fun to play, and if it wasn't for the spending event next update I probably would have tried to pull for her weapon by now. I really like seeing the Shiny Silvers fly around, I get to feel rich (after Honkai and Genshin have completely emptied my wallet ;-;).

Sorry this took so long, like I said, exam season and all. There's so much Elysian Realm content in this update and I didn't even get into the beta (def not salty or anything). I'll be working on some guides for Rosemary soon, probably followed by all the new signets and maybe even the new sigils? Anyways I should probably get back to studying, thank you all for being patient!
