Linnea is a 5-star Geo Bow character who functions as a Geo-specialised support and off-field sub-DPS built specifically for Lunar-Crystallize teams. Her kit is designed around enabling the Lunar-Crystallize reaction while simultaneously providing resistance shred, sustained Geo application, and team healing, making her one of the most complete support units within the Lunar reaction system.
Her gameplay centres on summoning Lumi, a Construct created through her Elemental Skill. Once deployed, Lumi continuously attacks enemies off-field, applying Geo and triggering Lunar-Crystallize reactions automatically while Linnea swaps out. This allows the main DPS to remain on-field while Linnea contributes damage, reaction triggers, and utility passively.
In addition to reaction support, Linnea provides valuable team utility. Her Construct reduces nearby enemies’ Geo RES, grants Elemental Mastery bonuses depending on the active character, and her Elemental Burst delivers immediate and continuous healing based on her DEF. These combined effects position her as the key character for Lunar-Crystallize teams, filling multiple roles with minimal field time.

Lunar-Crystallize teams revolve around converting standard Crystallize into Lunar-Crystallize, a unique reaction that periodically deals scaling Geo DMG instead of generating shields. Linnea enables this reaction through her abilities, allowing Geo attacks to consistently trigger Lunar-Crystallize while Hydro teammates maintain steady elemental application.
Once Lunar-Crystallize is active, its periodic Geo damage continues independently of the active character’s attacks. This allows the main DPS to focus on sustained damage output while Linnea’s Construct applies Geo off-field, creating frequent reaction triggers that steadily increase overall team damage. Because of this, reliable Hydro application is essential for maintaining consistent Lunar-Crystallize uptime.

With the current in-game characters, a True F2P Lunar-Crystallize team using Linnea doesn't exist. While Linnea enables Lunar-Crystallize herself, she still relies heavily on certain Hydro characters (specifically Columbina) to maintain consistent application. Without these 5-star units, Hydro uptime becomes unreliable, lowering both reaction frequency and overall damage. Additionally, Zibai is currently the only Geo DPS designed around Lunar-Crystallize. As a result, most F2P variations become Basic Geo teams that focus on raw Geo damage rather than reactions.
Basic Geo

Basic Geo teams focus on traditional Geo damage rather than Lunar reactions, emphasising raw scaling, Geo RES reduction, and Construct synergy. In these teams, Linnea functions as an off-field Geo support and sub-DPS, providing continuous Geo application, healing, and resistance shred while enabling the main Geo DPS to deal uninterrupted damage.
Without relying on Hydro application or Lunar-Crystallize triggers, Basic Geo compositions prioritise stable rotations and consistent damage output. Linnea’s Construct maintains off-field pressure and team utility, allowing Geo carries to benefit from sustained buffs and survivability while keeping gameplay simple and reliable compared to reaction-focused teams.

Here is a showcase on how to use the first Lunar-Crystallize team composition presented in this guide, containing Zibai, Columbina, Linnea, and Illuga.
We begin by preparing with the support characters. Linnea's Elemental Skill (E), Columbina's Elemental Skill (E) then Elemental Burst (Q), and Illuga's Elemental Skill (E) then Elemental Burst (Q).
We can that swap in Zibai. Using her Elemental Skill (E) once switches her to the Lunar Phase Shift mode. Four Normal Attacks (4N) causes the fourth hit to deal additional Geo DMG. During this, Transit Luminance will accumulate allowing her to use her special Elemental Skill (E). Before Zibai's Lunar Phase Shift mode expires, use her Elemental Burst (Q).

- DEF Scaling Can Be Restrictive: Requires heavy DEF investment, which can make balancing CRIT stats and Energy Recharge more difficult.
