1.Terms of Service
Besides topping up in-game and on the Hoyoverse Top-Up Center, most other methods are against Genshin's terms of service. Prices offered on these sites may seem too good to pass up, but using them can lead to serious consequences. Using other 3rd-party top-up websites can result in a temporary suspension of your account, a negative Primogem balance, or even a permanent ban.
As of right now, the only official/acceptable sources are:
-In-game
-Top up center
-Codashop
-Razer Gold
-Apple App Store (iOS only)
-Google Play Store (Android only)
-PlayStation Network (only accessible if you play on PS5)
Any other source is not permitted.
2.Account Protection
Third-party sites often lack adequate data protection, making them vulnerable to data breaches. That means you are at a higher risk that your information could be sold to buyers who may use it for phishing, identity theft, fraud, or other malicious purposes. Whether through advanced social engineering, malware, ransomware, or third-party supply chain attacks, hackers use every method at their disposal to infiltrate, expose, and exploit sensitive information for profit.
3.Broad Payment Options
While some third-party websites only accept credit cards, the official center accepts a wider range of local payment options and regional digital wallets, bypassing platform limitations. Another pro of using the official top-up center is that you can avoid foreign transaction fees that some banks charge when you pay a seller in another country.
4.Cross-Platform Support
HoYoverse accounts support cross-save functionality, allowing purchased currency, items, and progress to be accessed across multiple devices once accounts are linked properly.
As of right now, these are the platforms that you can purchase on:
-PC
-iOS
-Android
-PlayStation 5
-Xbox Series X/S
5.Offers
By regularly checking the official Hoyoverse top-up portal and announcements on Hoyolab, players can take advantage of special deals with great value.
Some tips to help you maximise value are:
-Stack purchases. Some promotions increase bonuses for larger purchases, so planning top-ups around big promotions can win you some extra primogems!
-Check for regional offers. Some bonus amounts and bundles may differ between regions due to local pricing strategies.
-Look at the official announcements. Hoyo posts announcements on their site and on their social media, telling you about their upcoming promotions
That's all for now, travelers~ Thanks for reading, make sure to like and participate in the survey below!!!
