No Winners, Only Survivors
How do you describe the person who killed an abuser of thousands?
A hero?
A warrior?
But most importantly, how do they percieve themselves?
Society may percieve them as good, but they harm themselves from shame.
They might be percieved as bad, but they believe they did the right thing.
Their point attracts attention: There are no winners of abuse: Only survivors.
There's only the abuser and the abused.
One with power and one powerless.
In my perspective: Self-defense is important.
"I thought he loved me. I thought he cared about me. But in the end, he only discarded me."
My Victory, My Pain
My plan worked perfectly. I killed my abuser.
My uncle manipulated me for five years. He made me kill so many innocent people.
But worst of all, he himself killed my sister in front of me.
Not only I got revenge, but so did the thousands of other victims.
We were free. His reign over us was done.
But I couldn't help but feel empty as well. He was family.
But what kind of family kills their own blood?
Right. He never had a family.
Because he tore them apart himself. And I was the one who delivered justice.
