Odette is a new 5-star Cryo character as Sub-DPS designed around the new Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl reactions. As a dedicated Sub DPS, she strengthens these reactions by converting their standard forms into enhanced Stellar versions while supporting the team with valuable damage buffs and reliable off-field damage.

This guide provides a overview of Odette's kit, recommended builds, team compositions, and gameplay tips to help you build and play her effectively.

✦ Odette Kit

Elemental Skill: Adagio: Phantom Night Dancers

When using her Elemental Skill, Odotte summons her “reflection” Solo Dance Double, which deals AoE Cryo DMG. If Solo Dance Double is on the battlefield, Odotte will summon her reflection once more to extend the reflection’s duration.

Solo Dance Double: For the first 6s after using her skill, Odotte will activate a special skill, Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling, which deals AoE Cryo DMG to nearby opponents.

Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling, Odette's Special Elemental Skill continuously deals AoE Cryo DMG to nearby enemies while she and her Solo Dance Reflection perform a duet. During the performance, you can freely control Odette's movement. When the duet ends, it unleashes a final AoE Cryo DMG attack that is treated as Stellar-Conduct DMG. If Odette is in the Radiance: Stellar Glimmer state, the final attack instead deals the corresponding Stellar Reaction DMG.

Skill > Special Skill

Elemental Burst: Bluebird Finale

Odette deals Cryo AoE DMG multiple times, then summons Solo Dance Double. Odette also gains the Snow Swan’s Dream effect: Increases the Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by Odette. Additionally, for 6s after activating her Elemental Burst, Odette’s Elemental Skill immediately enters the special form Adagio: Coda at Dawn’s Tolling.

If there is a Solo Dance Double summoned by Odette herself on the battlefield, she will pull it to her side and reset its duration.

A1: Spring Rite of the Chosen One

When Odotte summons her Solo Dance Double, she also obtain 4 stacks of Marvelous Splendor.

Marvelous Splendor: Every stack of Marvelous Splendor active increases the character's Stellar Glimmer DMG by 15%. While Odette is off-field, she loses 1 stack of Marvelous Splendor every 1s, while other nearby party members gain a corresponding number of Marvelous Splendor stacks.

A2: Pathetique of Pateticheskaya

For every 100 ATK Odette has over 1000, her Stellar Glimmer DMG is additionally increased by 1.5% of the original DMG. She can deal up to 30% more additional DMG in this way.

Passive Talent: Stellar Jubilee: Dance of Aurore

Odette will enter the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state when she is inside a Polestar Field, or the Radiance: Stellar Swirl state for 8s after a nearby party member triggers a Stellar Swirl reaction.

Polestar Field:

When Stellar-Conduct is triggered, the surrounding area transforms into a Polestar Field for a short duration. While inside a Polestar Field, certain characters enter the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, granting them various skill buffs.

✦ How to Play Odette

Based on Odette’s passives and talents, it’s clear that the Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl teams are her best options, thanks to the combination of Cryo, Electro, and Anemo. For now, the Stellar-Conduct team is her best choice. The Stellar Swirl reaction is still relatively new in Patch 7.0, and it’s possible that new characters will be introduced in future updates to further enhance its potential.

How to play Odette when she’s on the Stellar-Conduct team:

An example team consists of Sandrone, Odette, Yae Miko, and Alyosha.

  • To activate Polestar Field (passive), you’ll need another character such as Yae Miko to use her Electro Skill first, then have Odette enter on-field using her Skill and Special Skill. Next, Alyosha acts as support to provide the Stellar Glimmer buff and ATK to the DPS characters, then switch to the main DPS, Sandorone.
  • For comparison, note the differences in rotation and the resulting damage:

(Yae Miko E*3 > Odotte E + Special E > Alyosha E + NA*4 > Sandrone E CA)

(Yae Miko E*3 > Odotte Q + Special E > Alyosha E > Sandrone E CA)

(Yae Miko E*3 > Odotte E + Special E + > Alyosha QE + NA*4 > Sandrone E CA)

(Yae Miko E*3 > Odotte E + Special E > Alyosha EQ > Sandrone E CA)

(Yae Miko E*3 > Alyosha EQ + NA*4 > Odette E + Special E)

------

Odette's Constellation

C1: After using Adagio: Coda at Dawn's Tolling, Odette deals an additional instance of Cryo AoE DMG that is treated as Stellar-Conduct (300% ATK) or Stellar Swirl (450% ATK), depending on her current Radiance state. Additionally, summoning a Solo Dance Double grants 2 stacks of Marvelous Splendor, though these stacks are consumed faster while Odette is off-field.

C2: Spring Rite of the Chosen One is enhanced, with each stack of Marvelous Splendor increasing the active character's ATK by 7%. Additionally, while a Solo Dance Double is on the field, enemies near it have their corresponding Elemental RES reduced by 20% based on Odette's current Radiance state: Cryo & Electro in Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, or Cryo & Anemo in Radiance: Stellar Swirl.

C4: Presto: Bluebird Finale is enhanced, allowing Snow Swan's Dream to grant nearby party members 50% of its Stellar Glimmer DMG Bonus. Additionally, whenever a party member triggers Stellar Glimmer, Odette performs a coordinated Cryo AoE attack every 3.5s, dealing Stellar-Conduct DMG (66% ATK) or Stellar Swirl DMG (99% ATK), depending on her current Radiance state.

C6: Spring Rite of the Chosen One is enhanced. Once all nearby party members have received Marvelous Splendor, Odette's own stacks no longer decrease. Additionally, characters affected by Marvelous Splendor deal 25% increased Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG to Elevated enemies, while Odette gains an additional 20% bonus to her own Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG.

So, Should You Pull Her?

For my experience:

Since Odette is a Sub-DPS, she's more likely to remain relevant in future Snezhnaya teams. Why do I think so? The answer lies in her role. A main DPS usually needs a Sub-DPS to maximize their potential and complement their kit, and Odette is one of those characters.

However, keep in mind that she does have team restrictions. She only performs well in teams built around the Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl reactions.
