Afterthoughts: Phainon Sticker Collection | HoYoLAB 1.0 & 2.0 Phainon Character Channel Event
✦ The Concepts Behind Pie-non Gallery Vol. 1–4 ✦
An In-Depth Thematic Exploration of 2 Different Themes
In our first sticker collection from last year's HoYoLAB Phainon Character Channel Event, Pie-non Gallery Vol. 1 & 2: Heroes of a Thousand Faces, we explored the different sides of Phainon, taking inspiration from the description of “Nameless Faces”:

✦ Pie-non Gallery Vol.1 & 2 ✦ Heroes of a Thousand Faces
The Different Sides and Facades of Phainon
“Hero. Divine. Puppet. Prisoner. Which of these things are you? Who are you?”
“I am but one among a thousand faces defiant against my fate. That which you see... is me.”
It was an exploration of that inner narrative, and the different identities and facades of Phainon.
Phainon Sticker Collection | Pie-non Gallery ✦ Vol. 1~4 | Thematic Exploration
"Beyond Deliverance lies not a Worldbearer who burns away, but a boy with boundless dreams and possibilities."
✦ Pie-non Gallery Vol.3 & 4 ✦ The Many Hopes and Dreams of Phainon
For our HoYoLAB 2.0 Phainon Character Channel Event this time, I chose to release the sticker collections much later, as the story concept and ideas became much clearer as I wrote the 2.0 Event story pages.
Wishes, Hopes and Dreams
This time, it became a thematic exploration of “Wishes, hopes, and a new beginning” that begins to bud within him.
A sense of self finally rediscovered at the very end of Phainon's long Flame-chase journey, encountered once more in the rewritten chapters of Amphoreus, a chronicle of the unprecedented 33,550,337th cycle that has never come before.
To me, each of the Event pages has a vivid concept behind it, and each illustration leads to a fuller, bigger picture, with every part interconnected with the others.
Down to each and every Coreflame, every single item. The concepts behind the cakes and food items from Phainon Cafe, and even the details of each sticker.
Each and Every Threads, Interlaced and Connected to a Larger Picture
What lies at the end of his Flame-chase journey?
What awaits him at the end of his adventures?
To me, it's always much more than just cute or adorable stickers, or beautiful or gorgeous artworks.
It’s always so much, much more than that.
Because that's what the Amphoreus characters and Phainon have meant to me, and that's also how I wished to convey these stories and ideas into every single part of our Events.
The End, that Leads To A Beginning
As one story ends, it always leads to another door opening in the future, and the path beyond it is paved with countless possibilities, hopes, and dreams.
And in the end, it is by letting go and stepping beyond the stride of Deliverance that the boy can finally reconnect with that freedom again, with himself again...
With everyone again, starting anew, in the dawn where he finally finds a new beginning.
See You Again, on August 15th
I hope that these series of Event posts have at least brought some memorable experiences to you, and please stay tuned to our very last day of posts on the night of August 15, 2026.
See you again.

"Even if"
"I could turn back all the time"
"I'd still choose to"
"Stay by your side"
"To me"
"The night was long and deep"
"Even lost in the dark"
"I never stopped"
"Feels like all of this"
"Was already set from the beginning"
"As if it were fate"
"Smiling in pain as we our eyes met"
"Beautiful in the way it hurts"
"To who we were back then"
"I wave a gentle goodbye"
"Step by step, I keep walking on"
"Shouting out a louder goodbye"
"The moment I left it all behind"
"Evеrything unfolds before me"
"Likе they've never been before"
