Anyone else annoyed that you can explore certain places only in shooter mode?

The shooter mode is fun, there’s no denying that. I don’t mind it being a part of the quests. But what gets on my nerves is the fact that you can explore these areas only in shooter mode even after completing the quests. There are so many good photogenic spots... I really wanted to take some photos of my characters sitting on the Belyi Tsar's throne. Why couldn’t they have done something like those shadow realms in the the overworld, so that the ones who want to explore the area in shooter mode can do so and the others who don’t want it can explore it with other characters? It is especially such a pain since you cannot climb or glide in the shooter mode. It feels like they’ve cut off the Traveler’s arms and legs…
