I am here to bring you a complete breakdown of everything new in Patch 7.1. This is the Anniversary Patch!!! The update includes a brand-new Archon Quest Act 3 and 4, two Story Quests featuring Vodyanitsa and Vesna, Event Quests, several quality-of-life changes, new TCG cards, and, of course, new achievements.
Before we get started, I would like to wish everyone a happy 6th anniversary! We have come a long way since I began the Patch Breakdown series in 2022, Version 3.0, and it has now reached 7.1. 7.1 Chest Guide:
In total, 7.1 has added 0 chests in the Overworld (not including domains). There was 1 Teleport Way point added on the map, and it has increased exploration % by a little bit. I will post Snezhnaya I so people can catch up.
7.1 Domain Chests
In version 7.1, there was a one-time domain added. During the Archon Quest Act 3, there was a Domain at the Northland Bank; it has 1 common, 3 exquisite, and 1 precious.
7.1 Cryo Sigil Count:
Total: Cryo Sigil Left Over: 163
(These Cryo Sigils are found in chests, Meeting Point rewards, and statues of the 7 rewards.)
In this version we collected 10 more Cryo Sigils from the archon quest domain.
7.1 Maximum Chest Count
Prior to patch 7.1, the maximum chest count was:

I am missing 6 exq and 12 common from old story quest domains that we cannot go back to. Please write in feedback to let us revisit old domains.

7.1 New Achievements
I have earned a total of 9 new achievement since the 7.1 update.
The current maximum number of achievements is 1854. There are a couple of achievements that are not yet possible, such as reaching the level 10 Shrine, obtaining all the Lunar Arcanum, Tsarist Assignment, etc. There are no new daily commission achievements in the Snezhnaya region. The highest possible right now as of 9/24/2026 is 1850.
7.1 Serenitea Pot:
In Version 7.1 of the Tea Pot, there are 7 new blueprints in the teapot shop that you can buy. 15 new plants you can buy.
You can find the Matryoshka Doll if you finish Vodyanitsa's 2nd Anecdote. (She will give you a gift bag, and you have to open it to get this).
This version's Battle Pass teapot item is "Where Fish Swim and Waters Sing". I do not recommend. 
It is extremely tiny and costs 1450 Load. You won't be able to place much else with this. It does have an interactive button, which will play a note and have some fish swimming around it for 5 secs.
7.1 New Food Recipes:
There are 2 new food recipes currently available.
1. New Recipes:
○ Event Reward: "Celestial Tea Crisp" (After finishing Event's side quest)
○ From Snezhnaya NPC Zyryanov: "Mors"
New Character Specialty Dishes:
Vodyanitsa's specialty: "Iridescent Aria"
Vesna's specialty: "Hoarfrost Soup"
There are also 2 Ice Cream if you own the character.
This brings the total recipe count to 282 (this number includes collab recipes like McDonald's and the Baskin Robbins Collab).
7.1 Tutorials Count:
This makes the total tutorial count 742.
7.1 My Favorite New TCG Deck:
A fun TCG deck featuring the new Elemental Transfiguration: Overload Blessing card. This card will play automatically at the start of the game if you only have Pyro and Electro characters. It will guarantee dice rolls!!! Later it will do damage every time your opponent switches.

Common questions:
How long did you play?
I started my session on Patch Day, the Archon Quest Act 3 took about 3 hours. The Archon Quest Act 4 took about 2.5 hours. Do keep in mind Vodyanitsa and Vesna's story quest is a real-life time-gated quest. You need to do a bit each day for 7 days.
How come you have 31 more lux chests than the max?
Back when the max chest count for Lux was 69. We got a patch that introduced us to Bennet Hangout. For about 4 to 5 days, doing the hangout will lead to an extra lux chest count. This was patched after 5 days. I did not like my ugly number of 71, so I made it an even 100.
Are there any Co-op Chests in the new region?
No, there were no new Co-op Chests in the new region.
What are the Anniversary Rewards?
I have noticed a 518 Primogem Top-Up bonus in my Hoyolab. What is it?
In this version, Hoyoverse has a promotion on their top-off website!!! They are offering 5 coupons where you get 8% primogems of whatever top-off you choose. For example, if you purchase the 99.99 dollar pack, you will get 518 extra primogems.

This recipe is a reward during part 2 of the Secret Tsarist Assignment. Currently unobtainable until 7.2.

Anything new with the TCG?
In Version 7.1 we got a lot of new TCG character cards. They are Columbina and Illuga.
Are there any QOL changes in 7.1?
