Tenth Month — Month of Strife
Patron Titan: Lance of Fury, Nikador
The first month after production activities are completed. People are liberated from the most important tasks of the year, resulting in surplus labor in society. In the past, the cities typically waged war at this time. This month is also the period when criminal executions and burning offerings in prayer to the gods occur.

Story:
This was the first time Evernight had visited Castrum Kremnos since setting foot in Amphoreus.
Speaking of Castrum Kremnos, among the Chrysos Heirs, none knew the city better than the Crown Prince, Mydeimos. With the assistance of Oronyx’s divine authority, you walked through the city’s splendor and desolation. Even across different timelines, the air of conquest and conflict remained undiminished.

Before long, you arrived at the center of the magnificent Kremnos Arena. This was where warriors once displayed their valor to the fullest, and even now, the surrounding echoes of cheering could be heard.
Stepping into the heart of the arena during the Month of Strife, the air naturally felt heavier, especially since your guides were Phainon and Mydei.
After a long silence, Phainon finally spoke:

“What’s with the sudden quietness, Mydeimos, are you afraid?”
“Afraid? Hmph. Tell me, Deliverer. Has any Mydeimos of past cycles ever retreated?”
“Even if you have no memory of those past cycles… no, never.”
“Hmph, then they are worthy of the name of strife. Come, Deliverer. Let us settle this once more with all our strength!”
“Wait, we came to bring Evernight to Kremnos for sightseeing, didn’t we?!”
“Sightseeing and dueling aren’t mutually exclusive, are they?”
“Phainon, you’re not really going to fight here, are you?”
“That’s the plan! Mydeimos!”
It turns out that the Kremnos tour was merely an excuse - Phainon and Mydei had planned this all along. If things continued like this… ah, no! Their conversation was escalating, and if you didn’t intervene, Kremnos might be swept up in a bloody storm. At this moment, you (Trailblazer):

Choices:
Let them fight, of course, watch them battle! I want to see them fight!
The view is excellent. Instead of intervening, pick a perfect audience seat together with Dan Heng and Evernight, meanwhile, send messages to all the Chrysos Heirs to join in the excitement and cheer for them!
(After receiving the message from the Astral Express Trio, everyone rushes to the scene to watch. Calling this battle the most spectacular match of the “Month of Strife” would not be an exaggeration!)
(Halfway through carrying out her duties in Okhema, she’s called over to watch two grown men childishly fight against each other. She even notices Phainon’s “attire” colors after transforming into Khaslana… and is left speechless for a long time.)
“...This is utterly absurd.”
“Eh~ Isn’t that the Deliverer boy and the little lion of the Kremnos? So much more fun than the last time I came here and spent ages looking for treasures and found nothing~!”
“Lord Phainon… looks very different from usual. Little Ica, let’s record this moment too!”
“That unfamiliar and powerful force… what has Phainon gone through all this time?” (Deep in thought)
“Trailblazer, Dan Heng, hurry up and take a photo together!”

This is looking bad… It’s only March- Evernight’s first visit to the city of Kremnos… should we really let them see something this intense already?!
With the help of the Astral Express trio, try to persuade them and steer the conversation in a different direction.
“Since it’s rare for everyone to gather, Phainon, Mydei, maybe you shouldn’t clash with force.”
“Dan Heng, I understand your stance, but today’s battle is a promise between him and me. Come, Mydeimos!”
“The Kremnoan dictionary has no word for retreat, and besides, this is the city of Kremnos. I, as the son of Gorgo, will defend our glory to the death!”
“Even though reason and the story tell me to stop you both, I really, really want to see the two of you fight AHHH!”
(looking at Trailblazer) “In your case, advising or not advising is basically the same, right♭?”
(sighing at Trailblazer) “…You better just stay quiet.”

During the Month of Strife - competition is unavoidable.
Suggest an alternative way for them to settle their contest!
(Without warning, these two suddenly started to clash. Phainon and Mydei were already ready to act, yet…)
“Fury upon you—”
“With the old sun’s embers, hail the new world’s—”
“Phainon, Mydei, please fight in another way!”
“Huh?”

Best:

They truly weren’t joking - Phainon and Mydei actually clashed seriously in the grand arena. From the spectator stands, the Chrysos Heirs and the Astral Express Trio cheered loudly for both sides. Neither Phainon nor Mydei gave an inch, their battle thrilling from start to finish. Fortunately, neither suffered any serious injuries, and afterward they laughed together as peacefully as always.
After the match, the Astral Express Trio approached the two.
(Phainon, still not fully transformed back)

(slightly apologetic) “…Ah, I didn’t realize. That everyone was actually watching our battle…”
“Partner, you fought amazingly!!! Your other form looked so cool!!!”
“Not bad. It’s been a long time since I fought with such intensity.”
“…Indeed, it has been too long, Mydeimos.”
“Both of you fought well. Later, I should record today’s events into the Archives.”
“What an unexpected treat for today. As long as you two enjoyed yourselves, that’s all that matters.”
Translations: 中文, 日本語, 한국어, and Русский
Normal:
Instead of deciding the outcome through fierce combat, the Astral Express Trio proposed another form of duel - a battle of wits. The rules were simple: whoever could answer the most questions from the “Verax Leo” more quickly and correctly would be declared the victor.
In the end, Mydei narrowly defeated Phainon with a score of 23 to 22.
Verax Leo: “I just bit the great hero Phainon! I’m never brushing my teeth again!”
“No way! Mydeimos! I demand a rematch!”
“Hmph. There’s no way I’m backing out. So, what’s next to compete?”
“...Not again?!?!?”

Bad:
Thanks to the persuasion of the Astral Express Trio, an unnecessary battle and conflict were narrowly avoided. However, even though the two guides tried their best to hide their displeasure, an unmistakable tension lingered in the air as you continued sightseeing around Kremnos.
Perhaps, without the sparks of conflict, this “Month of Strife” simply lacks the color it was meant to have.
“…Hmph. How irritating.”
“Ugh… we were so close to fighting just now…” (clenching fists)
Translations: 中文, 日本語, 한국어, and Русский
“Ah, Phainon, I heard from the Trailblazer that you weren’t supposed to be acting as guides today, right? You can’t be so war-hungry - you have to leave a good impression on the Deliverers from beyond the sky.”
“What a shame… I really wanted to see my partner transform and fight so coolly…”
(looking at Evernight) “It seems like we might have missed something.”
“Now that you mention it, I’m starting to feel curious too ♭”
