Does anyone else see that one person in their FYP that they want to follow but just don't-

I can't possibility be the only one who's experienced the feeling of "oh this person seems cool, I see their posts all the time and I should totally follow them-" and then proceed to not do it for whatever reason at all. I genuinely wonder if anyone's felt that way about me. I feel like I need relatively good circumstances to like give an appropriate comment and get to know the person better before I follow them yk. To be honest, I've usually not been the one to follow the person first in recent times. It tends to be "they follow me first and we go from there." I think that could be *my* reason, but everyone is different. I am a F4F account, even though my following list number is smaller than my followers list number. There's a difference, the reason my numbers are how they are is past mutuals deleting or abandoning their accounts or them not turning on the "people can follow me" option. I don't follow like 1,000 people and only have like 400 followers, but no shame to accounts who have follow numbers similar to that. If you like the person and they're not a bad person, follow them even if they're not F4F. What is this repetition. Forgive me, if I had better word choices I would use them, but at the moment I am unsure on how to simplify my statements.
