I know many people like overlapping items (and floating items) in their teapot, but for the official competition, this is considered a loophole! You will be disqualified, even if it's super creative or super beautiful, sadly. T.T
〓Why I Posted This〓
My main INTENTION here is to let players know that they might be disqualified if they have clipped/overlapping items. I don't feel like it's right to keep this information to myself, even if it would give me an advantage in the competition.
Of course, I also have things I wish MHY would change, related to this post. They are stated in my comment below.
〓My Thoughts〓
I REALLY REALLY hope they won't "fix" this way to overlap items, since it gives us players SO much more room for creativity! I love seeing people's designs on YouTube and wherever and I love being able to create something unique in my teapot to show my friends. Although the teapot is still awesome even without this glitch, I love it even more because of the possibility to overlap items! Perhaps miHoYo could allow overlap for all items, regardless of whether we use the glitch or not? That would be even more amazing! Just think of all the designs you could create!
I hope that in the near future, overlapping items (and maybe floating items too?) would be considered a FEATURE instead of a "glitch." Even if it wasn't their intention to let items overlap, I would consider it a happy mistake! Not all mistakes are bad, and not all glitches have to be fixed. After all, this is a harmless glitch. To me, "harmless" means that the glitch doesn't give people an unfair cheat/advantage when fighting enemies. Being able to overlap items is a happy glitch that simply gives players more creative freedom!
