Hello Everyone I came on here to share one of my interesting theories I have thought through and wanted to share so here it is! (let me know your thoughts by the way!)
The one Fatui Harbingers all the Genshin fans are waiting to see again, Scaramouche. (Number 6th of the Fatui Harbingers)
From my point of view, he seems like a very suspicious figure that may or may not be human. Now you must be thinking that I'm going crazy but hear me out for a second.
In the Unreconciled Stars event.. He had stated that the sky was a lie (or a hoax.. either way he stated something that no normal human could say.) If he had made that statement.. would he perhaps seen the truth behind the sky and saw what Celestia was really like? Seeing the real truth about Teyvat?
SURPASSING CUP LORE.
He was born with a face fairer than any other,
Destined to a long life and a hollow will.
He was a transcendent being, divinely created, but he was cast aside like worthless dross.
Yet, due to an error that cannot be known, he roused himself from slumber,
And began to wander the mortal realm.
Before the Fatui found him, he had drifted for countless years
And in that time, this is what his experience had taught him:
"I am a 'human' who surpasses all others."
"Even the gods daren't meddle in my fate."
"Neither mortal nor god, nor fate itself, is qualified to be my judge."
"I am free to choose how I wish to spend the remainder of my days."
"Since these mask-wearing people are so fun to be around..."
"I think I'll become one of them."
The surpassing cup describes a harbinger that can surpass humanity so I'm predicting that this lore is about Scaramouche. This could also lead to him not being human and has the power to surpass humanity.
MY THOUGHTS.
About Scaramouche,,, I believe he’s not human due to him might being created by the Raiden Shoguns blood to spy on the Tsarista since they have something in mind to take over the word. The Raiden Shogun may be suspicious of this act and wants to get more info by sending out a spy undercover. Also the Raiden Shogun stays hidden from the public in Inazuma unlike Zhongli and Venti where they just go wherever they want (Showing in Kazuhas recent character trailer, his friend had to face fait to meet the Raiden Shogun.) Maybe this could be because Scaramouche told her that the Tsarista was sending out people to take and steal the gnosis from different archons which she may fear.
