✦New Battlesuit: Starry Impression✦
"Where the stars call home... it must be so pretty. Don't you want to live there with me?"
Starry Impression is an A-rank SP PSY-type Physical melee Support/sub-DPS. With her Cross (gifted by Aunt Mobius), Griseo fights alongside Mr.Knight to defeat her enemies with paint. Starry Impression focuses on inflicting Bleed and providing Physical buffs for the team.
Basic ATK: The Painter and The Knight
Tap [ATK] to attack enemies with your paintbrush and Mr.Knight! Landing a hit will gain you a color bar of your current color. Tap [ULT] to change between red, yellow, and blue paints!
Combo ATK: Knight Blowing Bubbles
Hold [ATK] for Mr.Knight to consume accumulated paint colors for a Combo ATK! Mr.Knight deals more DMG if you have all three types of colors and max bars!
Ultimate: Neverland Genesis
Hold [ULT] to invoke Time Fracture and cast an airborne painting that stays airborne for a while, before materializing and dealing AoE DMG to enemies upon auto-completion. During Ult, the active valkyrie can inflict Bleed Trauma through their attacks and Griseo’s paint bars limit increases from 3 to 5. Exiting during Ultimate passes Griseo’s Mixing buffs onto her teammates.
✦How to Get Starry Impression✦
◆ In v5.8, you can farm/purchase the SP valkyrie’s fragments via shops and certain Open World Adventure Tasks.
◆ In v5.8, participate in Story Chapter XXX and The Journey of Painting Stars events to get Starry Impression Fragments.
◆ v5.8 will have a Starry Impression Battlesuit Supply lasting until July 29th, where you are guaranteed to get SP battlesuit Starry Impression within 25 pulls. At the same time, Starry Impression's recommended equipment Supply will also be available to drop the UP weapon Elysian Astra and Depicter Impression stigma set Cezanne within 120 drops.
✦Starry Impression’s Signature Gear✦
Starry Impression’s recommended gear will be available in both expansion equipment supply and focus supply.
✦New Divine Key: Seven Thunders of Retribution✦
Vill-V’s Divine Key creation with the 3rd Herrscher’s Core will debut in v5.8. Seven Thunders of Retribution (7TR) is a new signature weapon for Herrscher of Thunder that reworks her move kit and strengthens her further while equipped!
Weapon’s Active Skill: Narukami Divinity
The wielder channels Honkai energy in the Divine Key to perform an X-slash of Lightning DMG and is invincible during cast. The first hit inflicts 10 Paralyze Trauma and casting regens 10 SP.
HoT’s additional effects:
Weapon’s active can be cast during burst mode, in which she is invincible and her Ultimate Evasion is force-triggered as well. After casting the weapon skill, she can immediately unleash Finisher. On hit, the two kinds of weapon skills inflict Narukami's Mark.
Passive Skill: Forfeiture
The wielder deals an extra 30-45% Total DMG to enemies of countered types. Casting Ultimate also refreshes the weapon’s active CD.
HoT bonuses: During the 2-sequence Ultimate, all skill & stage timers are paused.
If HoT casts the weapon’s active in burst mode and unleashes Finisher before auto-exit, Kurikara will remain on the field in Synergy Mode to bombard enemies mid-air. Synergy Mode will end and the dragon will disappear if it loses all energy, has been on the field for 10s, or Herrscher of Thunder casts Ultimate again.
Passive Skill: Inverse (PRI-ARM only)
In non-burst mode, the wielder gains 35% Lightning DMG.
HoT bonuses: When the Kurikara loses all energy or reaches its time limit, it will dive on enemies, dealing Lightning DMG. While Kurikara is present, every Shinzan Strike by HoT strengthens the dive’s DMG.
In v5.8, 7TR is added to the Dorm's Divine Key System as the Key of Judgment. After obtaining (doesn’t matter if PRI-ARM or not) and unlocking attribute skills, all valkyrie ATK stats permanently increase by 10.
✦Elysian Realm Updated✦
Starry Impression and Fervent Tempo Δ will both be available as playable characters in Elysian Realm in v5.8! During this patch, they will receive more upgrade-materials per playthrough.
There will be a new second set of [Nexus + 3 Enhanced] signets for both -of Stars (Griseo) and -of Discipline (Aponia).
Players can now refresh the list of purchasable signets in Felis’s shop.
✦New Story Chapter XXX: Marcia Funebre✦
"It's incredible. This thing you want to do really alters the meaning of status quo..."
"And now... there's just one thing left for me to do in my plan."
Chapter 30, “Marcia Funebre”, will be released. It continues on from Chapter 29’s mystery in Elysium Everlasting and the Amu*****t Park will be available for players to explore!
The new Amusement Park area will have new chests, tricks, and other various secrets for captains to discover!
Covenant Signet cards, cards that provide even more powerful buffs, will be added to the customizable card sets.
A new Challenge Mode will be added, where players who place high enough can be seen on the rankings! Persona Cards that match the corresponding stages will also unlock Trial Stages.
During v5.8’s limited-time story event, you can collect Shiny Coins to unlock various rewards, including Elysia: Perdition (T) of the Elysian Paragon set.
✦Herrscher of Thunder Outfit✦
Herrscher of Thunder will be receiving a new outfit, Haunted Dusk, in v5.8. The outfit can be unlocked through flipping tiles in Homu Treasury.

✦Journey of Painting Stars✦
A long long time ago, the horrible great serpent devoured the stars and the moon. Evening forever disappeared.
To retrieve the evening colors, a painter embarked on a journey with partners to seek the scroll painting left by the legendary depicter...
The Journey of Painting Stars features Griseo on her adventure. She will meet many partners who are willing to join her throughout the journey. These partners will come out boldly to fight against enemies when Griseo is in danger.
Embark on a new journey with Griseo to collect Painting Cards! Painting Cards are what your partners revolve around!
With the Painting Cards you collect, you can strengthen and customize your team! You can drag the avatars of partners in the team interface to set up your team. Note that Partners have their own stats, skills, and even roles!
With either Auto/Manual mode, send your team out to face enemies! Auto mode auto-casts Ultimate when full SP whereas in Manual mode, you need to manually cast Ultimate.
Playing in this event’s story stages and missions can yield you Pigments. Pigments can be spent for various rewards, including a new costume, Before the Dawn, for Luna Kindred!

✦Starter’s Manual✦
Starting in v5.8, there will be a bigger and more updated starter system for newer Captains!
Expect more rewards when completing various tasks and milestones!
A “Handbook” symbol will be available for new Captains to navigate.
A Growth Guide will be available to help captains quickly familiarize themselves with the game content. Complete tasks to earn yourself rewards, including an S-rank Valkyrie Option item!
A "Training Plan" will guide new captains through the various major gamemodes, including Abyss, Open World, etc. Complete the Training Tasks to get yourself Fallen Rosemary!
A “Growth Sprint” map will reward new players with additional rewards such as crystals and supply cards when reaching certain captain levels! Captains may also purchase to unlock the 2nd tier mapping rewards, which includes a lot of additional crystals and Herrscher of Reason!
✦Top-up Event✦
During v5.8, a top-up event will be available for players. Top-up certain milestones to earn yourself various rewards, including up to 3 special “Astral Wish Reward Boxes” at the ~$100 USD milestone!
Each Astral Wish Reward Box can be opened to select either Dea Anchora Stamp x1, Herrscher of Thunder Stamp x2, or Ancient Legacy x80. (A stamp yields 10 fragments/souls but requires the player to own the valkyrie already).
✦Arc: Light Bound✦
Hacker Bronie’s origin story event, Arc: Light Bound, will be returning as a re-run event during v5.8! Participate in the event to re-experience or learn about her journey for the first time!
Various rewards, including a Twilight Paladin costume and Starry Impression fragments, can be obtained for playing in the event!
✦Time Capsule✦
V5.8 will have a temporary Time Capsule shop. Expect returns of various limited-time only costumes, stigmatas, and weapons!
✦New Enemies✦
Bright Knight: Excelsis will be receiving an SSS difficulty whenever she is the UP boss of Memorial Arena for the week as of v5.8.
Bleeding Weather in Superstring Dimension Abyss will be a newly introduced weather in v5.8.
Inflict Bleeding status to the Nocturnal Knight to defeat it faster!
✦Battle Pass✦
v5.8’s Battle Pass will feature new rewards, new currency, new costume for Carole, and Dea Anchora and her related items!
The Battle Pass will now rotate from providing Lustrous Crystallum to the new Dark Jade Crystallums! Newer content in the BP Works will require the new green crystallum.
This Battle Works will feature Dea Anchora’s Character Card (x32 DJC), 2 of her stamps (x4 DJC each), signature weapon (x12 DJC), and signature stigmata (x10 DJC each).

✦Misc.✦
For a friendlier interface and easier navigation, story chapters will be grouped into “arcs” from now on.
Gustav Klimt set has been added to the Foundry as a Physical Tier II craftable whereas Nebulous Duality and Fu Hua: Margrave set have been added to the Exchange Shop.
