This will largely determine the recommended characters the set works best on. It is also not imperative for Travelers to replace their pre-existing artifacts for this guide's mentioned characters.

Artifacts

As far as artifacts go for characters with 4-piece Emblem of Severed Fate, it comes as no surprise that Energy Recharge should be maximised in order to make the most out of the set's 4-piece Bonus, while also maintaining other preferred stats (mentioned below). This bonus applies to Energy Recharge values up until 300%, after which no more bonus DMG is obtainable. It should also be noted that in order for the set's 4-piece Bonus to yield better results in comparison to the buff given by 2-piece Noblesse Oblige, a minimum of 140% Energy Recharge should be accumulated.

The only firm source of Energy Recharge from artifacts is a Sands of Eon (hourglass), but this does not provide better DMG for an Elemental Burst at a 5* rarity in comparison to a Sands of Eon with ATK% as its Main Stat. Hence the Main/Sub Stat prioritisation of all applicable artifacts is as follows (from most to least important):

Flower of Life

Crit Rate/DMG, Energy Recharge, ATK%, Elemental Mastery, Flat ATK as Sub Stats

Plume of Death

Crit Rate/DMG, Energy Recharge, ATK%, Elemental Mastery as Sub Stats

Sands of Eon

ATK% as a Main Stat

Crit Rate/DMG, Energy Recharge, Elemental Mastery, Flat ATK as Sub Stats

Goblet of Eonothem

Elemental DMG Bonus as a Main Stat

Crit Rate/DMG, Energy Recharge, ATK%, Elemental Mastery, Flat ATK as Sub Stats

Crit Rate/DMG as a Main Stat (depending on what is most needed)
