1. Navigation & Game Progression

➥ Each time you log in to the game, you will be brought to the central hub (lobby) and you will be gifted with free rewards from logging or normal events.

On the right side of the screen in central hub, there are four main buttons:

▲Attack

The Attack button will take you to the main story page where you can collect Challange Reward for completing sets of story stages, view your progressv and select the next Story Stage to undertake. Expect main story, the button can take you to the;

➥ Open world - currently in game there are 4 words to enter.

= Sakura Samsara, Schicskal HQ, A Post-Honkai Oddysey, A Post-Honkai Oddysey 2, all of them shows another story.

➥ Chronicles - see a backstory of the characters. If you clear a story mode you can enter a Challenge mode to obtain more expensive rewards.

➥ Co-op raid - co-op with players to obtain rewards, and buy materials in Co-op shops.

➥ Material expedition - This is a much-needed feature, it allows you to get materials to upgrade your weapons and stigma

= On the right screen there are two options: Material events and expedition complete stage to obtain materials and crystals for the first win.

By completing Story Stages, chronicles and open world story quest, you will gain experience towards your Captain Level and level up the Valkyrja who participated in the completed stage. Raising your Captain level allows you to advance through further story missions and functions. It same goes with co-op raid and Material expedition.

➥ Remember to collect your Challenge Rewards for completing sets of Story Stages to keep replenishing materials for the upgrades and enhancements you’ll need to keep progressing.

▲Valkyrja

The Valkyrja button will take you to your valkyries, where you can manage each valkyrie's skills, weapons and stigmas as they progress. You can also advance them manually from this page if they don't progress fast enough by passing stages. You can also see other Valkyrjes that you don't own.

As you gain levels, Valkyries will unlock new skills and you will only be able to upgrade the ones they already have. They will also need to keep up to date with the latest weapon upgrades, which we'll get to a little later.

▲Equipment

The button will take you to the your inventory, where you can view your weapons, stigmatas, Materials, and Valkyrjes fragments.

Here you will be able to take several inventories. For example, under the Weapons and Stigmata tab, you'll be able to see which ones are in use and see the new ones that have appeared to make sure all your Valkyries are equipped with the best weapons and stigmatas. You can also click on one of them and mark a padlock to make sure you don't accidentally remove it from your inventory.

▲Supply

The Supply button will take you to the in-game shop, top-up and supply tabs. Supply is Honkai’s gacha feature, you can get there a new characters. There is the standard Dorm Supply along with several others, including limited-time event Supply draws that cycle in and out. Each Supply Draw offers the chance to pull slightly different material rewards.

These all cost crystals, Honkai Impact’s primary premium currency, and pulling single draws will eat your earnings up quickly.

➥ One pull cost 280 crystals, and the 10 pulls cost 2800 crystals.

2. Battle Mechanics

In the game there are 5 types, but you'II learn now first are Biologic (Bio), Psychic (Psy), and Mecha (Mech). They interact with each other as such:

Biologic is effective against Psychic

Psychic is effective against Mecha

Mecha is effective against Biologic

There is also Quantum (QUA) and Imaginary (IMG), which aren’t especially effective or susceptible to any of the other three but have unique, powerful skills and awestriking maneuvers.

➥ You will enter Story Stages with a team of three Valkyrjes. Inactive team members will be listed on the right of your screen during the battle for you to swap in and out according to their strengths and weaknesses. ➥ For a better experience familiarize yourself with what role your chosen vaklyrje has and what functions she has.

➥ Teamwork is very important in Honkai Impact 3rd. There are special maneuvers that allow you to execute a swap and strike tactic. To make the attack most effective, you need to properly position for the swap and have an idea of what the Valkyrie swapping in is going to strike with.

➥ fundamental aspect to master is evasive timing. The game’s tutorial will teach you this pretty thoroughly, and that’s because it’s a mighty helpful tactic to nail down from the outset. When a pink bar of light animation flashes across the enemy, tap the evade button to dodge the attack. A perfectly timed dodge will trigger a time freeze, allowing you to light into the enemies for some massive damage.

3. Valkyrjie

If you want to get a valkrje, the best option is pull for her in supply draws. It's recommended to save your crystals to spend on x10 drawing sprees to guarantee your chances of a new Valkyrie. You will also obtain new Valkyrie for completing random Story Stages, events or be rewarded with them for other various leveling or achievement milestones.

While they vaklyrje will gain experience, you will have to manage the various upgrades and improvements to your Valkyries. This boils down to their weapons, skills and stigmata.

➥ Enchancing weapons increases their level with new or better stats, and upgrading them increases their star rating. Upgrading weapons can give them new skills.

➥ As I mentioned above, Valkyries unlock new skills as they gain levels. These are basically passive skills that either enhance the Valkyrie's active skills, or automatically take effect when the Valkyrie performs a certain action. You'll have to activate and upgrade them with gold, but it's a relatively easy aspect of the game to stay on top.

➥ Stimats are basically stat boosters that offer better stats when equipped with sets of the same stigma. Their star rating also affects their effectiveness. Stigmata with a better star rating are usually sought out to create a matching set. You also need to make sure that the stigma will enhance the skills of the Valkyrie you are equipping with that set. If the stigmata does not provide adequate support, there is no point in equipping it.
