[Guide Content Standards]

Guide Content Standards:

a. The body must have no less than 500 effective words and no less than 5 images (the size of an image must be no larger than 10 MB).

*Friendly reminder: The maximum number of images allowed in a post is 50. Entries should discuss contest-relevant topics, be informative and easy to read, and present no obvious numerical errors and plagiarism. Explaining statistics with images is preferred.

b. GIFs will make a guide more engaging and digestible, and therefore may earn it bonus points.

Attention: The image number limit is removed if the guide includes a video that is over 3 minutes long and accompanied by explanatory commentaries or captions.

If you are inserting a video:

a. The video must be original. A contestant must clearly state that their video is intended for HoYoLAB's guide contest with the link to the guide as proof in the description of its source, or it will be regarded as involving plagiarism.

b. The definition and length of the video should be taken into consideration. It should be no less than 5 minutes long. Adding explanatory commentaries or captions that are easy to follow may earn the guide bonus points.

Other Standards:

a. Using fan arts in guides is prohibited. Contestants are only allowed to use official arts and screenshots. If a guide contains content that violates HoYoLAB's guidelines, moderators or event organizers may remove it without notice, so backing it up is strongly recommended.

b. Plagiarization is prohibited. If a contestant is confirmed of stealing the works of others, the guide in question will be immediately removed and they will be permanently banned from community events. If you have published a guide related to v4.8 or other featured topics on other platforms (e.g. YouTube) before this contest is announced, you are welcome to repost it to HoYoLAB and edit it accordingly to enter.

c. Entries shall not contain any illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content (such as politics, religion, race, pornography, carnography, insults, ridicule, or other controversial topics), defame miHoYo or any of its products (such as Honkai Impact 3rd and HoYoLAB) and related parties, or involve any product other than Honkai Impact 3rd.
