If you have any objections to the results, please contact us at hi3_events@mihoyo.com during the results announcement period. We do not address objections submitted after this time unless they involve infringement or other violations of law.

Eligibility

● Contestants must be adults, subject to the laws of their region or residence. Otherwise, they must engage with the knowledge and consent of their guardians.

Contest Rules

This contest has 4 categories: Illustration, Cosplay, Video, Music.

● All entries are submitted through category-specific pages on HoYoLAB. Their links are as follows:

● All entries can be published on other platforms beforehand, but must be submitted through the above category-specific pages on HoYoLAB. You cannot enter the contest by creating a separate post on HoYoLAB.

● Cosplay Category

1)Please cosplay the characters from Honkai Impact 3rd with any theme.

2) Image file or video file allowed.

● All entries must not be made public before August 12, 2021.

● Illustrations can be uploaded directly on the event page. An image file size cannot exceed 10MB.

● Videos must be published on YouTube first. Please choose "Gaming - Honkai Impact 3rd" as the category and include "This video is an entry in the Honkai Impact 3rd Fanwork Contest 2021" in the description. Once the videos are published, contestants can submit their links to the event page.

● Please make sure that your entries conform with HoYoLAB rules or they may be removed by moderators. Please visit https://www.hoyolab.com/HI3rd/article/517110 to read our rules. If you wish to appeal a removal, please contact us at hi3_events@mihoyo.com.

● If contestants edit their entries without notifying us, they may be disqualified. If you must make an edit, please notify us at hi3_events@mihoyo.com beforehand. By deleting their entries, contestants have withdrawn them from the contest.

● Each contestant may submit no more than 5 fanworks per category, but entries removed by moderators or the contestant themself do not count. If more than 5 fanworks are submitted, only the first 5 are valid. The same fanwork cannot be submitted to multiple categories (example: a cosplay video that has been successfully submitted to the Cosplay category should not be submitted to the Video category).

● Every contestant can win multiple times with different entries, but every entry can only win once (excluding the Fan-Choice Award and the Finalist Award), and will receive the highest applicable award.

Standards for Contestants & Entries

Contestants must warrant that:

● Their entries are entirely their own work and can be legally submitted by them.

● The contributors to collaborative entries are credited when submitting. Every collaborative entry can only be submitted by one contestant, who will also receive the prizes awarded for the entry.

● The organizer reserves the right to immediately disqualify contestants for any of the following reasons:

1) Entries shall not infringe upon the trademarks, copyrights, patents, portraits, or other legitimate rights and interests of any third party in any way; otherwise, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify those contestants and hold them legally responsible (including but not limited to covering the loss of the organizer and its related companies).

2) Entries shall not contain any illegal, offensive, or inappropriate content (such as politics, discrimination, pornography, carnography, insults, ridicule, or other controversial topics), defame the organizer (including its related companies and products) and Honkai Impact 3rd, or involve any product other than Honkai Impact 3rd.

3) Contestants shall not infringe upon any legitimate rights or interests of the organizer (including its related companies and products) and Honkai Impact 3rd, or disseminate any untrue information concerning the organizer (including its related companies and products).

4) Without the written consent of the organizer, contestants shall not use or permit third parties to use their entries for commercial purposes.

5) Contestants shall not provide false or invalid information.

6) Contestants shall not take actions that violate any rules imposed by the organizer, disrupt the operation of the contest (such as impacting its fairness), or entail negative consequences.

● By submitting fanworks, contestants have agreed to follow contest rules. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify contestants who violate contest rules.

※ The digital emblem is only issued to accounts on the Europe & Americas, SEA, KR, or Traditional Chinese servers of Honkai Impact 3rd.

※ If the above physical prizes cannot be purchased in or shipped to certain regions due to uncontrollable factors, the organizer reserves the right to replace them with equivalent cash grants: 1st Prize equals 2,195 USD, 2nd Prize equals 913 USD, 3rd Prize equals 549 USD. Identification documents and a bank account that accepts international transfers are required to receive a cash grant.

※ Winners shall pay taxes at the request of the individual income tax policies of their region of residence. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Award Selection Rules

● After the submission period ends, the organizer will select numerous finalists to enter the final round of review and the Fan-Choice voting session.

● During the review period, every miHoYo Account can vote for 10 different entries daily, and earn another 5 votes through sharing. Votes are refreshed at 00:00 (GMT+8) daily.

● If miHoYo Accounts that have voted are impacting the fairness of the voting session in any way (e.g. using votebots, stealing accounts), the organizer reserves the right to disqualify them from voting and nullify their votes.

● When the review period ends, the 3 entries of each category receiving the most votes will win the Fan-Choice Award.

● The 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place winners will be selected by the official Honkai Impact 3rd team. Entries are judged on their creativity, presentation, completeness, and effort.

● The vacancies left by disqualified winners will be filled by runners-up.

● If there are not enough entries that meet our standards, there will be vacancies for winners.

Results Announcement & Prize Issuance

● After the review period ends, we will announce the results on the event website and in our communities.

● Within 10 days of the end of the results announcement period, winners must submit their info as requested. Failure to comply amounts to a forfeiture of the prizes.

● In-game and HoYoLAB prizes will be issued within 30 days of the end of the results announcement period. Physical prizes will be shipped within 90 days of the end of the results announcement period. The actual delivery times will vary by service. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Copyright Ownership

● By submitting a fanwork successfully, contestants have agreed to irrevocably, exclusively, globally, and permanently authorize the organizer and its related companies to publicize their entries online and offline with credit for free. The organizer can transfer or sublicense this right.

● Without the written consent of the organizer, contestants shall not use or permit third parties to use their entries for commercial purposes during or after the contest.

● If you find any contestants or entries violate any contest rules during the contest (from the submission period through the results announcement period), please report them to us at hi3_events@mihoyo.com. The format of the report email should be as follows:

● If reports are confirmed to be true, the contestants or entries in question will be disqualified.

● Entries only reflect the views of individual competitors and do not necessarily reflect the views of Honkai Impact 3rd.

● If the operation of the contest is impacted by uncontrollable factors such as procedural defects or unauthorized interference, or the organizer believes it can no longer operate the contest as planned, the organizer reserves the right to modify contest rules, suspend or cancel the contest, or take other reasonable actions at any time.

● The aspects not specified by contest rules are still subjected to HoYoLAB's User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Community Rules and Honkai Impact 3rd's User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
