I literally got rid of all my photos and music and videos, only keeping really important ones. most of my game storage is genshin plus a few offline games and most of the apps... I don't know what most of the apps even do, but I'm guessing they run the phone so I don't wanna get rid of them? anyway, is this enoughts storage to run any Hoyo games or something else? Update: Installed PJSK instead. Uhh, I leave it at: I am very confused and absolutely suck at PJSK

To justify why I left here are my reasons: The game takes up way too much space on my drive, and it’s just not earning it anymore. It is impossible to justify letting a game hog that much room when it constantly forces massive updates on you but barely gives you any fresh content in return. The devs have gotten completely uninspired and lazy. Almost all the events are just recycled copies of past ones. To top it off, bringing over characters from Honkai: Star Rail like Kafka and Robin feels like a cheap way to generate hype using ports instead of putting actual effort into developing their own original characters and world. The story drags on at a snail's pace and is honestly just extremely boring. There is no emotional hook or cool narrative to keep me interested, which makes doing the everyday chores and repetitive loops feel like a hollow, mind-numbing grind. On top of everything else, the game runs terribly. It's so laggy that the video and audio in the cutscenes constantly stutter, which completely destroys the vibe and ruins the immersion. It got so bad that during the flagship beach event, the game would instantly crash the second I tried to move anywhere near the shoreline. Because it wouldn't even let me play the event, I completely missed out on getting the free summer skin for Belle. I'm used to dealing with lag in games, but this was just unplayable.

This is all gacha game storage so far for mobile? Unlike pc they cooked!!!!

(there is a tldr below for those who dont want to read all the yapping, yes im desperate ok) so i basically havent been able to play genshin just before the release of dorman port because i ran out of storage, also have been busy with life stuff ofc, + my dumb ahh didnt choose the option to minimise the game size when i had the chance 💔. most of my storage is taken up the photos app because i have screen recorded a bunch of gameplay (may or may not have recorded the whole 3rd act of lantern rite 2025) and i am still working on compressing some videos which i am willing to lose some quality on. my next goal will probably be to clean up screenshots which i also have a bunch from genshin. genshin is not only a game that takes up quite a bit of storage, it also takes up most of my photos app. some might say a break from genshin is good, which i sort of agree with bc the artifact rolling system drives me crazy. but i genuinely miss the game. i have been living on copium by keeping updated on socials, and i just keep thinking, "wow, that looks cool and fun, i sure do look forward to getting caught up when i finish clearing my storage!!" it has been at least 199 days since i last played. AAAAaAUGHGKKCKKKKSJKDHHBSKEUEUEUE i normally dont really get fomo, but i really do feel like im missing out a lot especially since the recent 7.2 version livestream. now, i havent watched said livestream because i didnt wany any spoilers. but based on what ive seen people say and as a lore enjoyer, what the actual HECK man. what do you mean mitya is thinking ? what do you MEAN the world is ending ? WHAT do you MEAN a bunch of characters archons and equivalent have all gathered together??? WHAT DO YOU MEAN VENTI MY GOAT IS RESETTING A TIMER?????? TIME??????? ISTAROTH MY QUEEN?????????? ugh, and ive been annoyed this whole time by the fact that i havent even gotten to hear about dornman port and the mondstadt expansion in game because i stopped playing just before it. for context i love mondstadt mondstadt best nation change my mind not to mention all the potential primogems i missed from all those events and dailies. i hate missing events because even an event npc area dialogue could have some lore or at least mention how cool venti is or smth. i remember logging out with a primo shortage which makes me a lil sad. i guess ill have to settle for the returning player thing that i forgot the name of, when i actually clear enough storage. tldr; i was a little stupid and now i havent had enough storage to play genshin for 199+ days, and i am coping hard for a few reasons. so please, if any kind souls could lend a word or two of advice, it would be greatly appreciated. + p.s. thank you to all the people who responded to my bottlemi s asking similar things, i have read and considered all your words. thanks to everyone for the help <3 !

I missed so much, I'm so mad at myself

I had 36gb before deleting past quests data from my game (apparently 21gb) AND despite that, my storage hasnt changed at all??? Idk what I did wrong but I cant delete it anymore as it says its deleted, yet my storage regarding this game remains unchanged. idk what can i do now as i need more storage for downloading zzz. [hi3 and gi storage for comparison] Im trying to make those games have as less storage as I can. you can tell me if im doing good or no, any tips on both topics would be greatly appreciated.

Been wondering why my storage is so big even tho all my installed app doesn't add up to what window told me. So I download wiztree and turns out my old genshin impact file that I didn't even know exist has been hogging around 85 GB worth of storage. Ty wiztree.
