Prelude - If I could, cross beyond that door 🌾 600th Post Special Poem
If I could, cross beyond that door Swaying wheat, a poem more real than dreams, Constellations spiral, Golden inscriptions carved across empty pages, Lingering sweetness adrift the wind, as if it would never fade, The weight resting upon the heart slowly loosens, being taken away. Carved within, the mark named “Eternity” You and I have walked through epoch long journey, A river of time, old as mythology, Waning wishes binding forsaken legends, A hero of a thousand faces rises, only, To fall, crash into the depths again, Golden blood flowing within, Born from a seed of hatred that refuses to die, The fruit once sown by what was “evil”. The nameless faces, blurred silhouettes, Already turned into the embers of a prisoner, Raging fury, beneath a shattered divine statue.
