5.1 Beta Guides

✦ NEW ADDITIONS IN 5.1✦

Hi, Marisa Honkai here, and this is Honkai Impact 5.1 Tier List. In 5.1, we have three big changes:

1. Elysia - Miss Pink Elf. She is a farmable S-rank Physical ranged dps. Competitive-wise, she is very good in Abyss. You will need her in her exclusive Ranged weather - MHT-3B Tank boss. She'll also be useful against Ranged Assaka and SK Type Counter. Basically, if Fervent Tempo excels in Arena, Elysia excels in Abyss.

2. SSS Arena Bosses. Arena mode is taken to the next level with two powerful enemies - SSS MHT-3B and SSS Jizo Mitama. These bosses have made two DPS become very important to have - Herrscher of Flamescion and Bright Knight

3. Abyss Flower - Liminal Spiral. Bright Knight Durandal is taken to the next level with Abyss Flower PRI-ARM. She now has too much damage!

✦ DPS TIER LIST✦

[This tier list outlines which valkyries are used often in getting top placements in EX Abyss and EX Arena. Top 3 RedLotus / 2% Arena is used as the baseline, with Top 100 EX Abyss and T100 EX Arena as their maximum potential. Most DPS are judged as S-rank unless a specific rank is shown in the pic, which indicates that they are/were farmable.]

5.1 CN Boss List

This tier list also considers the bosses that appear in CN server. Global/SEA server has been following the list accurately for the past several versions.

TIER CHANGE EXPLANATIONS

✦ DEMOTED Herrscher of Flamescion (Her own tier > EX)

Flamescion, the best Fire DPS, was the favourite child in 5.0 - She always has a top score every week in Arena and Abyss. That is still happening in 5.1, just less frequently.

✦ NO CHANGE Herrscher of Sentience

Herrscher of Sentience continues to be one of the best Physical DPS ever. Also doubles as support.

✦ NO CHANGE Herrscher of Thunder

To be honest, we considered demoting HoT. HoT is competing with HoF and FR. Well, at least she doubles as support in Arena.

✦ PROMOTED Fallen Rosemary

Fallen Rosemary continues to dominate top scores in various Arena bosses and Lightning Abyss weathers. She is a little clunky to use, but once you learn how to use her properly, she will get you a high score, both as F2P and end-game.

✦ PROMOTED Bright Knight Excelsis

Durandal battlesuit Bright Knight: Excelsis has been one of the strongest Physical damage dealers in the game since Abyss Flower was introduced. However, she is overshadowed by Herrscher of Sentience capable of netting a high score on the same bosses. Now, with Abyss Flower: Liminal Spiral, her damage just skyrockets, her scores are higher and she is more flexible with stigma! Combined with the introduction of SSS-rank Ji2o Mitama, BK is more valuable than ever.

✦ NEW! Miss Pink Elf

Miss Pink Elf is a very strong Physical dps with Burst-like playstyle (but not Burst Mode). If Fervent Tempo excels in Arena mode, Elysia excels in Abyss mode. She is a must-have against the new ranged weather boss MHT-3B. She is farmable in War Treasury. In 5.2, we get more Ancient Legacy from SSS Boss and events, so just keep farming the cute Elysia!

✦ DEMOTED Fervent Tempo: Delta

Fervent Tempo is still one of the best valkyries to have. However, her MA usage is starting to die down as her best match-ups seldomly appear, and other valks like FR, HoT+FR, Nyx, BK start to score higher. As for Abyss, Miss Pink Elf is way better than FT. At least Elysia is pink too!

✦ DEMOTED Dea Anchora

Bad match-ups and no Rimestar in CN 5.1

WOW EX TIER VALK = PULL PULL PULL

If you're a new player, this list is not a very good indication for what you should pull, as some of these valks require certain gears, lineup and some are only good against specific enemies. Use this instead:

All the DPS shown are Herrschers. They work right out of the box, don't require a lot of gears to get decent scores and they will still be useful even after you get to the late game!

- Herrscher of Thunder and Azure Empyrea are available in starter supply

- Herrscher of Reason is available in Dorm Supply

So far, this tier list is the toughest one to make. There are so many tier changes and so many aspects have to be considered to justify the changes. Thanks to Neal, Pump, Derci, Qodnec, Defdep, bortz, lovenectar, CN community team, Ai-chan team and other captains that helped not just in this tier list, but on all the guides as well. I did not consult them for all the info written here so if you disagree with any info shown here, you can discuss with me~
